Cakes

Don't get excited,

This poem isn't about cakes,

It's about my friend,

Whose nickname is Cakes.

Now we met in year six,

We both moved schools,

But I came first,

And when she arrived I thought she was pretty cool.

She takes too much time off school,

So when she's older she'll be quite the fool,

But I guess she'll be okay,

Because I'll probably be there to save the day.

Cakes is a nice girl,

She is one of my only school friends,

And if we weren't friends I'd be a loner,

So I guess I'll have to just deal with her.

No but seriously,

She's a really good friend,

And if we weren't friends then I don't know what I would do,

My schooling would probably end.
