I reply knowing that I just told a really bad lie
" I thought you had a dance thing on?"
I bite my lip
" It was cancelled."
I reply lying again
" K sorry, I know you were looking forward too that... hey wanna go to Starbucks and finish it?? :-) "
Erm I'm in trouble
" Sorry I'm grounded "
"For what " Amelie replies
" Soz gotta go now see ya"
I put down my iPhone. Isn't it strange how one lie can turn into a million lies? Amelie is my geek freak bestie. If she had found out that I hadn't done that boring history exam she would flip. I would probably do the exam on the bus to school on Monday or in tutor when Dr. Brindy tells off Damian and Alan (it happens almost every day) or if I am waiting for results at the feis. Either way I HAVE to do it by Period 2 Monday otherwise Ambo (Amelie) would be disappointed. Irish dance practically takes up all of your life. You watch videos, go to practice, listen to the music over and over again. Blood, sweat and tears go in to it.
