"just a girl experiencing her first date which as you can tell by the pout on my face didn't turn out so great" she states making him
"i had a good first date so can't relate" he brags making her huff. "but i did have my fair share of bad dates" he sighs as she gives him a side look.
"maybe we can go out and share our experiences ?" he suggests making her smile
"like a date ?" she questions making him nod. "i think that breaks friend code and i don't have enough experience" she states
"then maybe after we have our date maybe we can confirm if it was another bad date or a successful one" he smiles making her smile
"i haven't agreed yet" she answers making him chuckle

so in a way you can't be bad because bad will happen to you. you have to be good for good things to happen to you. but you can't be too good or bad will happen to you. so in the end you don't really win.
