yooji looked at her mother's selca with a finger heart and sighed. finally one night which her mother wouldn't be home.
bosoon elbowed her, but still looking at the teacher and writing down notes.
she merely shrugged.
'is that your mom?'
'diva kim's not home tonight. sleepover?'
'sure,' her seatmate whispered, and yooji grinned. back to the old times, before her mother actually met uncle, bosoon often had sleepovers.
yooji didn't hate her mother, because she knew how hard things are for her. more than hatred, she pitied her. although they didn't spend much time together, she knew that her mother always puts her the first - except, when she needs to get her business done.
her thoughts were disturbed by another nudge on her arm. she looked at bosoon with a puzzled look.
'woo! yoo! ji!'
yooji's eyes slightly widened at the extremely loud growl. she gingerly stood up after being called by the middle aged man. 'y-yes?' she crossed her fingers. she didn't particularly do anything to piss him off, but every student in gangnam girls high school knows that being called by this old man isn't nice.
'please answer the fifth question for us, yooji,' he said firmly.
'eh?' she was totally dazed. she looked down at her empty notebook and then at bosoon. she had her answers written neatly along with her notes and she was randomly looking out of the large window beside her.
'for the fourth time, i'm asking you to answer the fifth question,' the teacher repeated impatiently.
yooji blinked at the blackboard and spotted the question. she tried to work it out in her brain, but at last she just randomly answered the first thing she saw on bosoon's notebook.
'the correct answer? bosoon?' he frowned.
'56.004,' she said loudly, and continued to look out of the window.
'thank you very much,' he coughed and started to gather his stuff. 'and you, detention until five, and you will have to skip your extra activities.'
'yes sir,' yooji bowed and sat back down. the class greeted as the teacher got out at the end of class. she glared at bosoon in disgust. 'and you're so going to pay for this, song bosoon.'
her seatmate nodded boredly. 'we'll just be able to go home after i'm done with dance practice,' she turned her gaze to yooji and shrugged. 'thank god it's friday.'
'friday my ass,' she fired back. she couldn't skip hers because the drama club was preparing for the school festival, but she hadn't confirmed all the costumes yet. 'and what are you laughing at seriously?'
bosoon sneakily pointed a finger behind her and chuckled. 'that guy over there has been laughing at you when you got that wrong, actually since you get called.'
'what guy?' yooji turned around and looked out of the window. it was the boys school next to them and it was so close that she could see the chaotic classroom through the large window which was just merely ten metres away.
she met eyes with a relatively short boy sitting on the desk and his eyes widened, before it turned into a pretty eye smile. he cupped the crown of his seatmate and rotated his head to them.
'oh my god,' yooji gasped as she recognized the boy.
'huh?' bosoon scoffed in amusement.
'i freaking know that blondie.'
