LOVE *BenxMal* (Bal)

Things certainly have been looking up here at Auradon

Prep, thought Mal as she sat-upon her bed in her dorm
room. It's only been two weeks since her boyfriend,

Ben, had been crowned King of Auradon. She was

alone and had been silently sketching her

surroundings in the meantime. Mal lifted her head up and peered around

the her dormitory room. Floral pink curtains that

hung down were pulled aside, letting the fresh

sunlight enter the room. The other half of the

room was Evie's. A mohogany table, (of which

multiple colored fabrics were rested on), a sewing

machine, a bed, and a mirror of course were on

Evie's side. Mal looked down again on her paper.

There was an unfinished sketch of her side of the

room. Mal had always been interested in drawing and
spray-painting. Evie had left 2 hours ago claiming that

she and Doug having a study date in the library.

The two lovebirds had shared an interest in knowledge in science, and

therefore, had a connection to each other. Startled,

Mal shook and dropped her sketching materials as she heard a knock on the door. "Who is

it?" the girl called out. "It's me, Ben," She heard the

voice say. "Come in." Mal called out again. Her cheeks

turned pink with embarrassment as he entered her

room. "Hey!" He said cheerfully as he gave Mal a peck

on the cheek. "I've got a surprise for you," Ben spoke.

"Oh really?" Mal asked him, with a hint of mischief in
her
voice. "I wonder what that could be. It better be

wickedly awesome." A small smile formed on face.

"Come, let me show you. I know you'll love it."

As they sped off on Ben's motorcycle to the

Enchanted Lake, Mal wrapped her arms her arms

gently around his torso. She noticed the lush, green

forest that surrounded her. Many tall Evergreen trees

that sprouted up from the Earth blocked her view of

the other sides of the forest. As their ride came to stop,
they dismounted and took of their helmets. "No

peeking!" He chuckled as he placed his hands around

Mal's face, covering the view of the beautiful Earth

from her eyes. A few minutes later, the lovers had

arrived at their destination. "You can stop stumbling

around like a zombie now." Ben joked as he removed

his hands from her face, both of them bursting with

laughter. Mal's laughter came to a halt when noticed

saw the beautiful objects that surrounded her. A blue-

and-white colored was neatly spread out on the grass.

Upon it where chocolate-covered strawberries (her

pupils dilated at the sight), cake, and other treats and

deserts. Overcome with awe, Mal spun on her heel,

where she faced Ben front-on. A shy smile grew on his
face. "I- I... don't know what to say!" She exclaimed,

tripping over her own words. "It's all-" But, before she
could finishing complementing the sight, the boy

gently pressed his lips to hers; his arms wrapping

around her waist. As their lips connected, nothing else
seemed to matter. Butterflies formed in Mal's stomach
as she began to feel a bit of nervousness during the kiss.

As his lips broke apart from hers, Mal searched his

gentle brown eyes for something, something she

couldn't find. What was it about this boy that she

loved so much? Ben's eyes softly looked back into

hers. "Did I mention, that I love you Mal?" He asked.

"I'm in love with you too, Ben." The girl answered. She
leaned her head closer to his again, as he did the

same. She moved forward and gave him a kiss back.

Her heart rate increase every second that their lips

held onto each others. For the the first time, the

daughter of the terrible Maleficent had felt what love

felt like...
