When school came to a stop and students were leaving. Annabelle walked through the almost empty hallways. She would have been home right now if only she hadn't walked all the way to the west wing when her locket was at the east, which caused her to run all the way back. Getting used to her surroundings were going to be hard within this massive school.

Most of the population of the school had already left, leaving the staff and lingering students behind.

Annabelle turned to a corridor that was completely bare of students as she made her way to her locker which was at the other end. Once she finally made it, she punched in her number code and began to leave books which were not needed her and there.

She grabbed her jacket which she had left there in the morning, holding it tightly to her chest. The loud sound of her locker being slammed shut was the only thing heard through this hallway. Soon after a loud cough followed right behind her.

She almost jumped out of her own flesh as she whirled around quickly, hugging on her jacket as if her life depended on it.

In front of her stood the man she saw in the library earlier. Fear was an understandment as she stared at the skyscraper with wide eyes as, his gaze fell down on her. She fought back the blush which always seemed to appear when with the opposite sex.

Zero cleared his throat again, brushing off her cute reaction. He held out his hand, "Zero." He introduced, pulling Annabelle out of her daze. She stared at his hand as if it was the world's oddest thing.

She hesitantly brought her hand to meet his on a shake waiting for the 'Ah psych!' But it didn't happen.

Zero smiled, a dimple showing at his right cheek. Annabelle stood there, in awe of the man in front of her, until she finally realized how stupid she must of looked.

      "Annabelle.." She introduced.

Zero nodded to himself, as he awkwardly scratch the back of his neck. "So.. I've noticed you were new here." He stated. "Liking it so far?"

She shyly nodded, looking down to meet her shoes "Who ever likes school?" She mumbled, causing Zero to crack of laughter.

"Oh trust me, Shortcake.." He starts, grinning down at her. Annabelle blushed at the nickname, suddenly self-conscious of her hight, until he continued "-It gets worse."
