"Hey babe" Steven says through the phone. "Hi good game!" "Thank you" I can practically hear his smile. He had a great game with 2 amazing plays and a home run. "I'm coming now but there's a lot of traffic so I might be awhile" "It's ok. Are the guys going out? You should've gone with them" "No we are all really tired so we are going out tomorrow" "Mkay well I'll let you go, drive safe" "Baby keep talking to me it'll keep me awake driving."

Knowing the season is about to start picking up I decide on that topic. "Ok...so how long will your next road trip be?" "Oh yeah speaking of I wanted to talk to you about that. Me and some of the guys all talked to Cash today and he said you girls can come as long as you pay for your own flight and we all split the rooms equally" I smile happy he even thought about me but I can't help but sigh and the thought of how that adds up.

"Babe I'd love to but you know I really can't afford that" I hear him laugh a little. "Samantha, Samantha, Samantha. Babygirl do you honestly think I would make you pay for that? I got it covered I already bought you a ticket for every single flight right next to me" "Steven!! Oh my god that had to be so expensive why would you do that?!" "Gosh babe and are you foretting I'm a baseball player? All those tickets together was like a quarter of a paycheck don't worry about it" "You've lost your mind" "No I think I'm just in love so please starts packing we leave after tomorrow's game." We talk for another hour before he tells me he's pulling in and I hang up for him to get his stuff.

"You haven't done anything!" Steven whines tossing a suitcase in my direction. "You were talkihg with me the whole time I couldn't!" I fire back and start finding clothes to bring. "Don't blame me" He whispers hugging me from behind and resting his head on my shoulder. "Mmmm okay" I turn to face him putting my arms around his neck. "Get packing" He says stepping away to his dresser.
