Chapter 4

I woke up to see that I am in my bed by myself. I jumped out of bed and got a quick shower. I grabbed some underwear from my drawers, then walking to my wardrobe, I grabbed some black shorts, my leather coat, some shoes and grabbed on of Masons tops from his suitcase.

I dropped my towel as soon as Mason decided to walk in to the room. I rolled my eyes as he whistled trailing his eyes up and down my body.

"Damn! All I was going to stay that breakfast is ready but instead I get this. This I like way more." He said smirking.

I picked my towel up off the floor and throw it at him. I then pulled on my underwear quickly. Pulling on my shorts and his top. The top of my hair was dry just the ends where still a bit wet. I let my hair fall naturally and put my eyeliner on making it as dark as I could. I turned to see Mason just standing there smiling at me.

"What Mase" I questioned.

"We are going out today, were going to go to town, get some dinner and have fun" He replied

"Fine, however we can not be back to late as I have to do my sport work" I said.

Walking through town, well when I say walking I mean Mason giving my a piggy back because he lost a bet. I betted him that he couldn't get this womans number and if he didn't then he would have to piggy back me whenever I wanted him too and if he did, I had to give a lap dance to someone of his choosing. Thank god the woman didn't give him it.

We was both laughing and have banter, until someone shouting my name. Mason turned around and his mouth dropped when he saw Josh running to us, with you rest of the band behind him.

As the full band got closer Dan glared at Mason. Matt looked from Dan to Mason to Me and then smiled.

"Hey Guys. What happened to the disguises?" I asked

"Well considering we are helping out at your college, we can't exactly keep it on the down-low that we are here. So we have bodyguards around just incase things get out-of-hands" Chris explained

"Mind explaining to me why you are not walking" Josh asked amused

"Cause this little one betted me that I could not get this womans number and if I didn't get it than I had to give her a piggy back anytime she wanted and well I didn't get it. By the I am Mason" Mason explained whilst putting his hand out, Josh took it and shook his like the rest of the band, when it came to Dan, he sighed and shook Masons hand.

I looked at him weirdly only for him to turn his head. I heard Mason asking them to join us for tea in Nandos.

We were all sat in Nandos, me placed between Dan and Mason, Dan kept glaring at Mason and Mason was just talking to the rest of the band with his arm rested on the back of my chair. A waitress walked up to a table and stopped shocked when she saw You Me at Six, and then she saw me and her eyes changed from shock to sympathy. Oh no, she knew!

"Hello I am your waitress Amanda for this evening. I must be lucky to be serving You Me at Six" She smiled at the band and they smiled back she then turned to me "How are you darling?" She asked me, everyone except Mason looked at me confused.

"I am fine thank you for asking" I replied.

"It has been nearly 2 years since I last saw you, however I still recognise your eyes" She spoke softly.

I just nodded my head and let Mason order for me.

"So how long have you and Mason been dating" Asked Max

Mason and I looked at each other before bursting out laughing. I had tears coming out of my hands and Mason was nearly on the floor from laughing to hard. I took in a deep breathe only to look at Mason and start laughing all over again.

"God that was funny. Mason and I are not together we are just best friends" I replied smiling

"Oh right sorry I just assumed. So how close are you?" Asked Max slightly embarrassed.

"Close enough for us to sleep with each other" Mason replied without thinking.

We all turned to him shocked, he dropped his fork and widened his eyes as he realised what he said. He then turned to me and I just shook my head at him , excusing myself to the bathroom.

As I walked out of the bathroom I saw Dan leaning against the wall, he eyes snapped up to me as I walked towards him.

"So you slept with him?" He asked, his eyes cold.

"Yeah, about a year ago, why does this bother you it's not like it was night" I said

He looked and me and just shook his head before pulling me into a hug.

"I am sorry, I just didn't expect that to be said" He mumbled into my neck.   

We headed back to table and finished our foods, before heading home. I gave Dan a quick peck which no one expected as when I walked up to my door with Mason, everyones eyes was wide. I giggled as Mason and I walked in to the house.

We brushed our teeth, stripped off into our pyjamas and crawled in to bed next to each other.

I was sat in the hospital room waiting for the doctors to know whats wrong with me. Mason sat next me with his arm around my shoulder. The doctors walked in with a woman about the same age as him and smiled.

"Hello Lauren, I am Dr Clarkson and this is my wife Amanda" He pointed to the woman next the him.

The woman walked up me, kneeling down infront of me and smiled.

"Why don't we talk privately. My husband thought it would be better if I talked to you about this as it has happened to me before" She smiled

I nodded my head and we walked in to a different room. We was silent for a while before Amanda decided to speak up.

"Lauren, I am so sorry to tell you this, but you were pregnant" She said

"Were?" I replied not trusting to say anything else.

"Yeah, sweetie you had a miscarriage. You would of hand twins" She said slowly

My hand flow up to my mouth as I cried, she came up to me and wrapped me in a motherly hug.

"Honey, if you don't mind me asking, you seemed like you didn't know what was going on. So is that your boy in there would he of been the father?" She asked

I shook my head as if to say no.

"Mason and I we haven't had sex. The only person.." I stopped not knowing what to say and broke out in to more violent cries.

She held me in her arms until I finished crying.

"Lauren, sweetie what happened?" She asked softly

I looked straight in to her eyes and knew right there and then that I could trust her.

"I was raped"

I woke up to see Mason hovering over me, asking me if I was ok, I nodded my head but we both knew I wasn't. So I did what I usually would in these types of situations. I straddled Mason and kissed him fiercely, just wanted to forget everything, I haven't done this in a while. Mason knew it didn't mean anything, he knew it was just a type of release for me. So he let and he just went along with it.

Mason crashed down on top of me as we where both panting hard, he knew not to ask and to just let me sleep now. I turned my back to him as his wrapped his arm around me and all I could think was: What have I done?
