Decsion Time

Okay I know I said long last time, but it was the perfect ending place. Well it was in my eyes anyway. So since I lied last time I’m going to give this to you early. Enjoy!!

 Calming Mason down after telling him that Izzie was his was not an easy task, but it was doable. “So explain to me again what you think had happened, because I have been searching for you for two damn years.”

“Language!”

“Sorry, I’m not as used to having a kid listening to me as you are.”

“Okay, so I was on my way to tell you about little Miss here, but before I got to you Jake came over to me and said that you were going to try and propose a truce with them,” Glancing at him I can see I’ve got it right so far, “But you never came back. They told me that you were dead!” I couldn’t stop the tears from flowing like the rain flows without care. The feelings of that night came rushing back.

“Jake told me if I didn’t get out soon that they would come after me to. I’m so sorry I should have stayed, but I had to keep my baby safe. She was the only thing of you I had left.”

He didn’t say anything for a long time. He just sat there like he expected me to say more like I had somehow known he was alive and well. Finally he spoke. “Damn-it! Jake told me you ran off with some other guy.”

“Mommy no other guy, Mommy cry for you at night.”

“Iszatleigh Maree SHH!”

Mason doesn’t say anything else he just embraces me into one of those hugs that you could get lost in and never come out of. I would have never came out if it hadn’t of been for a very pesky neighbor interrupting my moment.

“Well I’m glad that you two have fixed your little mix up, but where does that leave me? Leah, I know I’m not the only one who felt that connection between us I don’t know what’s more important to you having the baby daddy that hasn’t showed up for two years, or having someone who is willing to take care of your kid and you. Please I want to love you both unconditionally if you only give me the chance.
