*Emily's POV*
The next morning me and Maria wake up at 5. Maria goes back to her room and shower while I do the same. I check the weather and its suppose to be cold today. In Texas? Hm weird. I'll just go in sweatpants from Pink. Maria comes into my room and ask what I'm wearing so I told her its suppose to be really cold so she decides to go in sweatpants to. I throw a pair of sweatpants on and I decide to go in just a white tank top. At least I won't be sweating. I blow dry my hair and put it in a bun. I throw mascara on and put my shoes on and go downstairs to see my mom sitting at the table with a coffe in her hand while reading the paper.
"Morning mommy." I say while sitting down next to her.
"Morning Emily. Your finished early." She says
"I didnt feel like getting ready today so I just threw this on." I tell her. She hands me my lunch and I put it in my bag. Maria comes down a few minutes later wearing sweatpants from Pink a pink tank top with converse. She has her hair in a bun to, but shes not wearing any makeup.
"TWINNING!" Me and Maria yell together then start laughing. Mom hands Maria her lunch and Maria puts in her bag.
"I know you two aren't excited about today, but I woke up a little early and went to get you guys something." Our mom says and she gives me and Maria a large caramel frappacino from Starbucks.
"Yay! Thanks mom!" We both say. Maria's phone beeps and its from Alex saying their outside. We say bye to our mom and we walk to their car with our Starbucks in our hands. Maria gets in the front while I get in the back with Austin.
"Goodmorning beautiful." Austin says then kisses me
"Please I'm in sweatpants and my hairs in a bun, I look disgusting." I say
"No you look beautiful in sweatpants. I don't care what your wearing, I will want to be with you anyway." He says. I look at him and blush. I swear he's the cutest. We sit in the back just taking and we get to school.
*Maria's POV*
I get into the front next to Alex and he starts driving.
"You are gorgeous." He says while taking my hand
"Stop." I say while blushing.
"It's true." He says while kissing my hand
"Alex I'm in sweatpants, my hairs in a bun and I have no make up on. I'm not even close to being pretty." I say
"Sweatpants,hair tied, chilling with no make up on, that's when your the prettiest, hope that you don't take that wrong." He says minmicking Drake's song "Best I Ever Had"
"You are amazing" I say kissing him when we get to a red light. We pull away and he takes a sip of my Starbucks.
"Hey!" I say when he puts it down
"You come into my car with Starbucks and I don't have any. I'm taking some of yours." He says
"Well okay." I say. We pull into the school parking lot. Alex pulls in a parking space and we get out and start walking into the school building. We walk to Spanish. We got some notes and started learning some things. I started shivering in Spanish so Alex being the amazing boyfriend he is, gave me his sweatshirt. After that we had science and the rest of our classes. In lunch Emily got cold and Austin gave her his sweatshirt.I swear we have the best boyfriends ever. The day went by fast. Great. Time to go home and see my parents. We get to the house and we say bye to the boys. We walk inside and we hear my mom.
"Girls come in here!" My mom says from our dinning room. We sigh and put our bags down and walk into our dinning room. We see our mom and 2 people. I'm guessing there our parents.
"Hey mom." We say walking to our mom and hugging her.
"Hey girls, come sit down" and we sit across from our "parents"
"So who are these people?" I say kind of rudely
"Maria be nice. These are your parents girls. Mike and Sarah." Our mom says. They say hi and we ignore them.
"So why are they here again?" Emily ask
"We just wanted to meet you girls. To see what you two look like and your both beautiful." Sarah says.
"Thanks." We both say
"We also want you girls back. We want you guys in our lives." Mike says
"NO!" Me and Emily both say.
"Why not?" They ask
"We lived 16 almost 17 years without you guys. We been in an orphanage for 11 years. You had 11 years to get us but you didnt. Our mom did. You guys aren't our parents. You guys left us. We lived plenty if years without you guys, I think we can continue." I say
"We'll okay. If that's what you guys really want. If you really want to stay with the people your with now, then stay." Sarah says as her and Mike get up and start walking to the front door. They leave and it looked like Sarah was going to cry.
"Girls give them a chance." Our mom says
"Mom you don't understand. We can't. They just got rid of us. They didnt want us. Why should we want them?" Emily says then runs upstairs to her room.
"Maria-" my mom starts
"No mom! I can't! I won't!" I scream and run upstairs to my room. I get in my room lock the door and just cry. I call Alex hoping he would pick up.
"Hey Maria what's up?" He says picking up
"Alex I-I-I need you." I say crying
"Baby what's wrong. Why are you crying?" He says concerned
"Alex please come pick me up." I say in tears
"I'll be right over." He says hanging out. I grab my backpack, my phone charger and a pair of clothes. I don't want to stay here tonight. Alex honks his horn letting me know he's here. I walk downstairs and out the door ignoring my moms question to where I'm going. I open the door and get it and put my seatbelt on.
"What's wrong? Why are you crying?" The first thing he ask me
"Just take me somewhere away from here. Then I'll explain." I tell him. He takes my hand and he drives to his house. We walk in and I see Andrew on the couch with his friend Cole. I wave hi to them and then go upstairs with Alex. We go into his room and he closes the door and locks it. We lay on his bed just cuddling and he finally brings the question up.
"What's wrong?" He ask again
"Alex... my parents came to my house today." I tell him
"I thought they died?" He ask and I explain what my mom told me.
"So what happened today?" He ask.
"My parents want me and Emily back." I say
Alex sits up and says "NO MARIA DONT LEAVE PLEASE!"
"Alex calm down. Me and Emily told them no." I say as I pull him back down
"Good I don't wanna lose you." He says
"And you never will." I say while leaning in to kiss him. We start making out for a bit when someone knocks on his door. Alex groans gets off the bed and goes to answer the door. It's his mom telling him dinnners ready. She sees me and says hi and tells us to come down and eat.
"Alright come on baby." Alex says while grabbing my hand. We walk downstairs to his kitchen. We sit down across from Andrew and Cole. His mom made pasta. After we're done eating we go back in Alexs room.
"Wanna stay here tonight?" Alex ask me
"Please?" I say
"Anything for you. Here I'll get you some clothes" he says and gives me a pair of his sweatpants. I keep my tank top and his sweatshirt on and change into his sweatpants. I walk back into his room and he's laying in bed on his phone. I climb into bed next to him and we just cuddle until I fall asleep.
