At the age of five, I was having these strange dreams about a lovely vegetable garden. But when you walked through the old gate that leaned on it's hinges, you looked around and you would feel different. All the green vegetables would be slightly dead in the way they stand. The soil would be trampled on and thrown around. And there would be a nice little fenced up play courner, where children could play for ages, as there was much to play with. That little play corner would always be untidy though, and from it came the smell of something rotting and old. The only thing that would worry me at that point, was the fact that no one was around...
I have forgotten the rest of the dream, but I'm shore to remember it some day. Now I'm thirteen, and I have just come to the age where I start to crush on someone. That someone is in fact the least popular guy in the school, but he is not known as the geek, he is known as the waist of space. I don't think that is fair personally, but that's their opinion. I think he is a sweet, lovely, guy who is very cute.
His name is Josh, Josh Riddle. But how could he ever like me? I'm a skinny, red haired freak, who wears clothes that hang down like they've been on a stretching machine - come to think of it they probably have! - which isn't what the other girls wear around my age.
Using the help of my dream, I have been working on a book which has all the parts of the dream in order. Just as I was sitting on a very uncomfortable rock, Josh came marching round the corner. I snapped my book shut, and stood up so he could take a seet on the giant rock that I was sitting on. He nodded in a thanks, and sat down on the stone. It was just big enough that he could sit on it, which was a good thing.
'They've been doing it again, havn't they. You know, the whole waist of space thing?' I asked seriously. He nodded his head. 'Yeah, they have been at it again' he answered. Hayden strolled past. He then walked up to me. Hayden was someone I have known all my life, big muscels, black curly hair, tanned skin, chocolate brown eyes, everything that was perfect. Unlike me. I don't get how he could exept me as a friend.
'Can I talk to you privately?' Hayden asked. I was confused. Usually he doesn't have time for me because of the other 'Important things I have to d.' It must of been very important. 'Okay, but make it quik, I have to go to netball class soon' I said hurrying him on. 'Well, actually it can wait' he replied shyly.
I waved goodbye to Hayden and Josh, and made my way up to netball. It was fun, and in our practice game, we had great fun. That didn't matter though. I was consenrating more on the what Hayden was going on about. It seemed very strange of him to act like that. I wonder.......
