The Play Pt 1

Lyric's Pov

"Good day students!"Principal Sarutobi greeted into the microphone making less than half of the school shut their mouths.

"Shut up!"Tsunade-sensei yelled making everyone well shut up in fear.

"Thank you Tsunade."Principal rolled his eyes. "As of today,suggested by the Student Body, until Christmas we will be practicing a play including the whole school."

Cheers erupted in the room making me cover my ears and look around. Rin had a grin on her face as she sat beside Gaara and Naruto.

"Yes yes I know you are all excited."Principal waved them off and smiled. "We will be performing...."He pulled a draw string and a banner fell. "The Christmas Carol!"

Most people screamed in joy but others groaned.

"Auditions will be on Thursday, scripts will be handed out by Hatake-sensei, all classes are canceled for the time being. Have a nice rest of the day."With that said he walked out of the gym.

I looked toward Rin who had determination set in her eyes. 

"I'm gonna audition!"She exclaimed and pumped her fist in the air.

"Well if your auditioning as will I."I rolled my eyes and leaned against Gaara's knee.

"I'll be working the concession stand."Naruto mouth drooled as the thought of being near food for hours. "I can't wait!"He stood and ran to tell Kiba or someone.

"Let's go get our script to practice!"Rin grabbed my hand and ran to where Kakashi-sensei was standing.

"Let me guess you girls are going to try out?"He asked boredly.

"Well duh. Why else would we be standing here in front of you."Rin gave him the duh face and grabbed the two scripts he handed to us.

"Good luck. I hear Tsunade's looking for 2 main things, Talent and Singing. You two fit that bill perfectly."His eye turned into a U meaning he was smiling under that mask of his.

"Let's go and practice!"Rin dragged me to the garage where the rest of the Akatsuki were waiting for us.

"I see you two are trying out."Zetsu gave a creepy grin and looked through the script. "So are we."

"What part do you guys want?"Rin asked excitedly bouncing in her seat as we drove out of the school grounds.

"Before you answer that,"Everyone looked at me. "Where are we going?"

"We are going to Starbucks."Konan answered for everyone.

"This is a waste of money."Kakuzu glared out the window as he said this.

"Oh shut your *ss up!"Hidan growled glaring at the miser in return.

"Kakuzu would be a great scrooge,yeah!"Deidara whispered in my ear as he laughed.

I nodded and laughed too.

"Anyway I'm going to be art crew."Sasori gave a smug look at Deidara who growled in return.

"So am I,un!"They both glared at each other.

"As am I."Konan glared at the two boys in the review mirror and turned back to talk to pain.

"The rest of us are going for whatever role we get."Itachi spoke for the rest of them.

"Well i'm going for the role of Belle!"Everyone stared at her confused at the name she just said. "You know.....Young Scrooge's fiance?"Still confused. "You guys are so dense it's sad."She shook her head.

"I'm going for Mrs.Crachit or Charwoman. Whichever seems more accurate for me."I shrugged and stared out the window as everyone else talked.

Gonna have to end it there. I'm so sorry for my lack of updates! School is taking up my time and I hate it! I'll update this again on Tuesday if not Thursday and again on Christmas!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise everything is on hold.....I SORRY!!!
