We walked down the road alone. We talked about how we were a long way from home. We talked about our mom, our dad, and that we had no brother. All we really had was each other. We talked about how we both grew up well. Then, our life went through hell. We were abused and neglected. And how we weren't protected. We continued to walk down that lonely road. We talked about how we were alone. We talked about how we both missed our mom. We talked about how it helped to remain calm. We talked about how our dad was brainwashed and confused. It left a scar, a bruise. We talked about how we overcome the challenges we were given. We talked about how we didn't give in. We talked about how we missed her. We talked about how we remembered a sister. We talked and walked some more. Then, we arrived at a door. We opened it at the same time. Only to see our past left behind. We opened the door to a new life and new opportunities. We talked about how are life would be made of purity. We looked each other in the eye. As if we were both about to die.

"I love you." I say to my sister.

"I love you." She says to her sister.

We look into the door. What we see is worth much more. We hold each others hand and hold on tight. We watched as the sky turns from day to night.
