My whole body felt exhausted, my legs were sore, my arms were weak, and my eyes were closed shut. I tried opening them a little but pain gathered in my eye. Opening them again, I saw above me a white ceiling. Suddenly I remembered everything. My Dad dying, Mom relapsing, being bullied at school, running away and meeting Damon. I recalled last night, full of laughter and watching Nemo and Dirty Dancing. Home, is where I should be not here.

"Good morning" someone said tiredly. I heard footsteps walking around, and I figured it was Damon.

"Good morning" I said yawning and stretching. Slowly, I sat up. Instead of seeing Damon's beautiful self, I saw someone else. My eyes widened in confusion. He had blonde curling hair, but a nice fit figure (like Damon's) although he had blues eyes, and bushy eyebrows.

    "Who-"

"My name is Trevor" He interrupted me, smiling. My mind flicked back to the weird phone call Damon had last night.

"Where's Damon?"I asked getting up, wrapping the blanket around myself.

"He's out, should be back soon,"  He said chopping some onions on the kitchen counter.

"Oh okay."

"So, your name's Nicole right?"

"Yeah, I really do need to-"

"That's cool I really like that name" He interrupted me again.

"Listen Trevor, I really do need to get home. My mom probably needs me
and I don't even know you or Damon." I said bluntly. He looked at me stunned.

"Your mom doesn't need you" he said quickly. The words slashed me like a knife.

"Okay, okay. I heard Damon talking on the phone with you last night.  And I don't want to get mixed up with whatever the fuck you guys were talking about" I said snapping at this Trevor guy.

Damon walked through the door before Trevor could say anything else.

"Hey your awake! How'd you sleep?" He asked helping Trevor cutting a tomato.

"Good" I said quietly.

"Were making omelets you want one?" He asked looking at me in the eyes.

"Yeah" I smiled lightly. I walked over to the kitchen and looked at them for a second.  "Guys, I need to go home." I said talking quietly, I'm sure they heard because they were both looking at me with wide eyes. "I don't know you guys, and my mom is going through a tough time right now." I said rushing every words. Wow, I can't believe I just had the courage to do that.

"Nicole, we... have to show you something." Damon said quickly turning on the the little T.V. in the kitchen.

"Nicole Taylor missing. Her mom, Sam Taylor just overdosed on the horrific drug cocaine. She was sent to the hospital right away. Her neighbor 'Chelsea' said she found Sam unconscious on the floor. If, you do find Nicole please contact us immediately."  The girl in the tiny screen said. My mom overdosed, I bet she never even noticed I was gone. I was always nothing to her, I have no home to go to. Heart pounding, hands sweaty, and tears were watering. Shit, don't cry Nicole.

"Hi I'm Chelsea" The screen changed to a different room with just Chelsea in it. "Nicole is my best friend. I miss her, dearly. Please if you have any idea where she is tell us. Call 911, or call this number below" A number fell on the bottom of the screen. Chelsea's eyes watering and her voice was shaking. "Nicole was funny, and such an amazing person to be around. And I-I" Tears were falling from her face and she looked down for a second. "I'm sorry" she whispered, sniffling her nose. "And I can't lose her."
The screen flipped to the girl in the beginning and she started talking about other stuff. Don't cry Nicole, don't cry. I looked up for a second and ran to the bathroom. Slamming, the door hard I went and sat on the toilet.
