Clan: The Amarante clan was a very powerful clan. It had respect from many people. There was only one clan the Amaarante's respected. The Uchiha's. They both held respect for each other and the neighboring clans quickly became friends.
It was commone tradition for an Amarante women to marry a Uchiha man.
A little more on Ryoko: She's a prodigy child. Her mother Akira, and father, Youji married at a young age. They were both Amarante's, which surprised the clan. Youji was killed in battle. Akira now raises Ryoko on her own.
