Suprise pt 2

This one shot has been inspired by the lovely person who commented on my First surprise "That's gonna be awkward when Poppy gets her period and has it go bra shopping" I died laughing and so.... Yeah and I didn't tag you because I forgot your username and I'm too lazy to go look at it.

Harry's POV
"DAD!" I hear my beautiful daughter, Poppy, yell. "What?" I ask. "Help me with my homework." She demands. Poppy is that 12 year old girl who doesn't ask for them to help her she makes them even if it's physically impossible.

"No please?" I ask. She shakes her head grumpily and I laugh. She looks so cute with her scrunched up, slightly freckled, nose, her shining emerald eyes and her ginger hair.... She was a little bit on the tall side of her grade but she loves being the tall girl.

I help her with her homework and the thanks me and kisses me on the cheek. Later that night I am reading the newspaper and Ron just got back from the groceries store. He is frustrated because.... Well..... I mean it's just his personality.

"Hey babe." I say and kiss him on the lips then lightly on his neck. He lets out a breath.

"I saw Draco and Blaise at the store today," he says. "They have a little girl and she..." Ron's voice goes into a whisper. "She started her period." He says.

I just look at him confused. "Well what happens when poppy does?" He says. "I've read plenty of parenting stuff this will be easy. We just have to buy her some of those things... What are they called... Pads! That's the word."

Ron just drops the subject. We ate dinner and then poppy asked us if we could meet her in her room. Me and Ron were both confused but we went upstairs anyways.

"Daddy, somethings wrong with me." Poppy says worried. "What?" I asked. 

"Well my tummy was hurting the other day really bad and then I started bleeding out of a place I shouldn't have." I felt my stomach churn.

"Ron call Ginny, now." I whisper and he nods with wide eyes. "Baby how long has this been going on?" I asked. "only a day." She says. I hold her hand until Ginny walks in.

"Ginny I-"

"Yeah yeah I already know what happened." Ginny interrupts me. "Hey Aunt Ginny." Poppy says and gives her a hug. "Hey baby.I hear you were having.... Problems." Ginny says and Lilly nods. "Hey it's totally normal even that happens to me!" Ginny says trying to make poppy feel better.

"Here, take these." She hands her a box of pads. Ginny brought Poppy into the bathroom and showed her how to put in on and never flush it in the toilet. 

After she's done, me and Ginny walk outside. "Hey thanks for that." I say to Ginny. "Don't worry about it! I didn't have anyone to talk to except my mother who didn't really explain it well" she laughs.

"I have to get going." Ginny says. She hugs me then leaves and I walk back inside to clean up a bit.

"Oh god." Ron says hyperventilating. "What?" I ask. "She said she wants to go bra shopping!"

This made me feel really awkward while writing this but I still think it's funny
