Nicole's POV

Once I saw the treehouse, I picked up my skateboard and ran towards it as fast as my short legs could take me. I climbed up the rope ladder and sat down to think for a little while.

I still don't understand how my life has completely changed over night because of a little wish. I mean, I'm no where near regretting it, but wow this has been an eventful day. My dad has his dream job, my sister's speaking to me, my dad is getting married, and I have my dream boyfriend.

Well, you can say I'm a little Love Drunk. I mean, its not everyday you get kissed by your long time crush. it just seems so surreal. Can this day get any better? Nothing can ruin my day. This is too good to be true. I believe it though.

While I was thinking, I started looking around the tree house. Memories came flooding back, Dakota and I have basically grew up in this treehouse. Even though its not the best treehouse, we wouldn't change a thing about it. Everything is still basically the same since the last time I was in here which was 2 weeks ago. Luckily, nobody else has found it. This is my place where I can cry, sing, draw, write, do whatever, alone, without getting bothered. I love this place so much, I don't know what I would do without it. I'd probably go crazy. Scratch that, I'm already crazy. I'd probably be assigned professional help. That's more like it.

I started singing What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction. I still feel like someone is watching me. It just feels like somebody is staring at me. I don't know if thats possible, but thats what I feel like.

Music is a really good thing to have. I just love it.

I didn't realize I was being heard until somebody cleared their throat. I almost freaking jumped out of my skin. They scared me half to death. I turned around and there was a boy.

What? I thought Dakota and I only knew about this place.

Anyways, the boy had black, curly hair, dark brown eyes, and he looked around my age, I guess. I've never seen him before, but how long has he been standing there?!? How does he even know where this treehouse is?!?

As if reading my mind, the mysterious boy spoke up,

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I haven't been standing here long."

Dang, he has a distinct accent. I think it's a Spanish accent. Well, that would explain his skin color, light brown but darker than mine. He's cute, you can say that. Wait, what am I even thinking? He could be a rapist or murderer and I'm over here thinking he's cute.

"Uh, who are you? What are you doing here? How did you know where this place was at?" I asked, frantically.

"Dang, girl. Slow down. I'll answer your questions, but first let me warn you that you're in a tad-bit of danger. It's-"

Well, I was wrong. That made my mood drop instantly. Maybe it's not the best day ever, anymore. Danget, nothing can ever go right in my life can it? I cut him off.

"What do you mean I'm in 'a tad-bit of danger'?"

"Will you please not interrupt me?"

I nodded and he continued.
