Chapter 11: A New Cast of Characters

THIS BOOK IS GETTING DEEPER IN EMOTION and BTW I'm squeezing the 2p Nordic into this story XD

Annie awoke to see that she was in a home, a home this she was unfamiliar with. Suddenly she heard someone say:

"Oh your awake! Good!"

Annie sat up to be face to face with a purple eyed stranger. Annie jumped back, scared of who she was facing.

"Oh! Sorry I must've scared you..." he said.

The stranger smiled and introduced himself.

"I'm Loki Bondevik, or the representative of Norway."

Annie calmed down a bit and spoke up.

"I-I'm Annie Navaranda, the representative of Greenland..."

Loki' s smile widened.

"Nice to meet you Annie!"

Annie smiled back at Loki. The sound of a car pulling up into the driveway started Loki, making his smile fade.

"Shit! There home!!"

Loki took Annie's hand and led her to a closet, lightly pushing her inside.

"Stay in here until I say it's safe!" And with that, Loki closed the door as some people walked into the front door.

Loki greeted the people coming into the home as he kept his back to the closet door with a nervous smile on his face. One of them sounded angry, someone else giggled like they just murdered someone, another sounded so happy to be home, the smell of smoke filled the closet and a kid was whining.

Once they all parted ways Loki opened the closet door and carefully led Annie to his room, avoiding any contact with the other people. He closed the door behind him and let out a breath of relief.

"Good thing they didn't see you..." Loki said "Felix would've killed you by now..."

Annie jumped, looking a little scared. Loki noticed that she looked worried and tried to comfort her.

"No no no not like that!" Loki began but a knock on the door startled both of them.

"Big brother? Who are you talking to in there?" A voice was heard outside of the door, a lot cheerful like Loki's.

Loki pushed Annie into his closet and closed the door as Loki's bedroom door opened.

"I-I'm talking to my dragon!" Loki lied to the person.

"Oh yeah? What are you hiding, hmmm?"

"I'm hiding nothing Egil, now go away."

"I'll bring Markell up here if your lying to me!! He can find anything!!"

Loki covered Egil's mouth.

"Shut up! I don't want him to hear us!"

Egil uncovered his mouth.

"If I hear you talking to someone up here, I'm bringing Markell."

And with that Egil left the room closing the door behind him.

Loki opened the closet door and pulled Annie out.

"Sorry about that, Egil is my little brother, and really nosey."

Annie nodded.

"Where am I gonna sleep?" Annie asked Loki.

"You can sleep with me, it's okay I won't do anything to you I promise!" Loki said with a smile.

Annie felt comfortable again, but with a different family.
