Les Vérités Entre les Mensonges

A lie that lies can't lie its lies on I,
For truth must stand and lies will fall.
A fly that flies can't fly it's flies to me,
For cows are grand and flies are small.
But in the end who really wins when wind erodes the standing truths and maggots feed on rotting cattle.
In the end the truth is small and every beast is doomed to fall while lies stay grand and flies still stand atop eroding sands of time.

I feel as though my skin is numb and cold.
I think of world's without this war and pain,
But deep inside I know they can't exist,
And truth be told this thought elicits joy.
It's not because I love the thought of hate;
It's just because it means we're less alone.
Oh what a lie we tell ourselves each day --
The lie that humans truly are unique.
This is something I cannot believe,
For look outside and clear it is to see:
The war between the deer who fight for does,
And war between the cattle and the wolves.
But what a war the human war's become;
We fight for love , we fight for lust, and sex;
We fight so fights forever more will wage.
We fight for Gods, and kings, and queens, and cows.
We fights the truth and in its place put lies.
