The man wielding the chainsaw stood absolutely still. It still had the sack on his head with the same bloody smile. It wasn't saying a word, just standing there, as still as a hawk waiting to attack its prey and I was just that. I was the prey...
I decided to take a small step back but as I did that he took a step forward. I took another and it did the exact same thing. I stepped back again, again and again but no matter what he kept stepping forward. The dreadful noise of the chainsaw was still ringing in my ears but that didn't bother me. What bothered me was that he didn't run after me like last time. Instead he followed every move I made exactly the way I did it. That was what terrified me.
