VIRGINIA HENLEY had never been truly happy

VIRGINIA HENLEY had never been truly happy. The stage was her home and her pointe shoes comforting pillows, but there was underlying grief that followed her like a shadow. Always lurking, but something she learned to live with.

Project Rebirth was an opportunity for one, but turned out to be the nightmare of another. Amid hope, there needed to be a reminder there was still a war to be fought. People had to kill and be killed, monsters had to emerge from an otherwise sane conscience. Monsters that could save the world, but cause havoc inside a mind that's already been through hell.
