Chapter 3

Star POV

We were running for our lives. Good think my wand still works. I blasted the cookie with rainbows and the squid with narwals.

"What are they?" Marco screamed.

"I don't know! Just keep running. Mabe we can get far away from that crystal!" I screamed back. We kept running, but the monsters came closer and closer. Marco found small cave entrance and we hid.

"Ok Mabe the sissers work now." Marco said. The cave was about as big enough for the portal, but it looked like it could get bigger. I tried the sissers again, but it failed.

We advanced farther into the cave. About 30 minutes later, we found a girl with blond hair, with green tips, sitting in a corner with a green backpack next to her. She was wearing a grey hoodie with green jeans, and converses.

"Who are you?" She said.

"I'm Star, and this is Marco. Who are you?" I asked.

"I'm Nicky. I got here yesterday from Earth, and can't get back. Do you know how to get back?" Nicky asked.

"Hey, we are from Earth too. Well I'm from Mewni but Marco is from Earth. Were trying to get back too. You can come with us." I said.

"Thanks! I was trying to get out of this cave. I found this map, it says where we can teleport to back to Earth." She held out a map. There was a purple rader to were they crystal's were. There was a spot where we can get to, but it is super far away.

"Well, here is a plan, we get out of the cave, then we keep out of sight of the monsters. We should get there in no time. " Marco said. We started to backtrack and Nicky asked us questions. Like what I can do with my wand, and what color belt Marco was on. She told us she can teleport, unless there is a crystal.

"So, are you two dateing?" She asked.

"N-no Star and I are just friends." Marco said, kinda disappointed. Did he like me? Marco and I were blushing like crazy. I might have a tiny crush on him, when I first met him. I never thought it could happen, but last night, I actually stared to think we could date. Mabe I should tell him. "Actually, I kinda have a crush on Star. Please don't tell her." He whispered to Nicky, but I heard what he was saying. My heart did a flip flop. He likes me.
