I wake up. Ish. I get ready for another boring day at elementary school. I go downstairs, eat breakfast, and finally, grab my backpack. Mom notices my heave to get my backpack on my shoulders, and reminds me I'm in HIGHSCHOOL. I make a face, then cover it up with giggles. Now it's Mom's turn to make a face.
"I... dont... remember... the last... time... you... laughed... or... smiled?" Mom asked yet stated at the same time. I open the door to go to the bus stop, and waved goodbye. I turned around to look outside and then I saw it. Nash Bird??? Again, I made a funny face. He noticed, and scrambled out of his car. Awkwardly-but cute. He opens the passenger door for me, and asks me an important question.
"Are you okay? Whats with the troubled look? I mean, I know I'm early, but-"
"No, Nash. Thats not it. Its-its-its.... I just woke up from a weird-wacky dream. Thats all!" I smiled as I got into his car. He grinned - after his short hesitation.
"Okay! Thats good-I mean that your okay!" He swiftly added. I laughed as he got into the drivers seat of the car. I pulled out my phone to text the daily "Good morning!" to Jade Civil, but I couldnt find her in my contacts or my texts. Nash noticed my search as he started up the car. He turned and looked at me.
"Are you seriously looking for Jade's number?!?! Dont you remember?!?! she tried to-" He shuddered, then slammed the brakes at a red light.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry!" I apologized as I rubbed my neck.
