Mountains and Valleys Chapter 34

I saw him just sitting there talking to himself. I went to him. I said, "James what are u talking about and who are u talking to?" He said, "I'm just thinking but it's easier to think aloud so I can make sure what I'm thinking makes sense. You know what I mean right?" I said, "yeah." Even though I had no clue what he was saying. I sat next to him. He looked at me then looked down. I said, "what's wrong?" He said, "nothing." I said, "about what?" He said, "you." I said, "don't be worried about me. Herobrines gone and I hope and pray that he will never come back." He said, "that's not it." I said, "ok well, if you're uncomfortable telling me then I'm ok with that just tell me when you're ready." He said, "ok." Then he hugged me. And this wasn't a quick hug this was a really long hug. Emily walked in, and he was still hugging me. She said, "morning guys, what are you guys doing?" I said, "James is kind of sad so I was just comforting him. Wanna help me?" Emily said, "sure and how is Jessie still sleeping? She's usually the first one up." I said, "yeah it is kind of weird but from what we've been through then its understandable." James was still hugging me and Emily walked over to help comfort him. He shooed her away as if he wanted me all to himself. I waved Emily to keep coming over cause I don't know how to cheer him up. Plus they've been friends longer so she knows how to cheer him up. So she sat next to him. He hugged me tighter. Then she hugged him and said, "it's ok James don't worry. You'll be ok." He hugged me really tightly. Then Emily let go. She stood up and said, "I'm gonna go make something to eat and wake up Jessie. See you guys when breakfast is ready ok?" I said, "ok." Emily left the room and I started to hug James back. He smiled and started to turn a little red. I think he might like me but I don't wanna just assume that. So I'll just see what's wrong with him and pretend like everything is normal.
