Shock Chapter 12

I still can't believe Jessie died just to kill him. Me and Emily just went back to the village. We just kept walking. We didn't stop. We had no where to go. We need some help. A push. A start. We needed Jessie to give us some sign that she was alive somewhere. We kept denying the thought that she was dead. But in some parts we knew she was dead.
-A Year later-
It's been a year since Jessie died. Me and Emily got lost from each other 2 months ago. I have been by myself exploring. But today I did find this portal. I am gonna walk threw it. I walked threw it and it was. Almost. Peaceful. It surprised me. I walked around and then I saw a fire. I went to the smoke. There was a house. I went to it. There was chicken cooking over a fire. I just stared at it. I heard a noise. I got my sword that I had when Jessie died and I went towards the noise. Someone came in front of me. I almost killed them but I didn't because I realized it was Emily! I said, "EMILY! IS THAT REALLY YOU?" She said, "yes Kelly it is are you ok?" I said, "I'm fine are you ok?" She said, "never better. How have you been?" I said, "pretty good. Umm sorry about me asking but how did you get here?" She said, "I don't know I was just here. I woke up one morning here." I said, "well were together that's all that matters." She said, "there's a village not to fare from here. I could show you around." I said, "sure."
