*2 years later*
Today was the day of my first teen choice awards and I'm so excited. I'm up for quite a few awards! Such as:
•female artist of the year
•breakthrough artist of the year
•best artist
•best summer song
•best dressed of the night
I really hope I win at least one surfboard. Since 'def jam records' signed me two years ago now my career has been amazing and super successful. It's also really crazy to think that I'm 21 years old now...time flys.
I was wearing a black lace Moschino dress with black and gold heels. Today I was going to walk down the red carpet with my best friend of two years, Matthew Espinosa. I walked out my house (or mansion to be specific) and was led by a shofar to the limo that Matthew had rented for us. Also in the limo were our friends Nash Grier and Cameron Dallas. We all started talking and having great banter.
We arrived at the start of the carpet and walked down. The boys went to have an interview together so I went to some of my other friends.
"Heya" I said.
"Omg girl you look great" Nicki said, jumping up and down. By Nicki I mean Nicki Minaj. We are really close friends because 1. we are both female rappers and 2. she was one of my first ever collaborations so we've known each other for a long time. We started gossiping and bitching about people, as you do, then Matthew came to tell that we could go get pictures now. I walked with him and we stood next to each other whilst the paparazzi took photos of us. Luckily we never get rumours about if we are dating because most of our fans know that we are best friends.
After the photos, I went for interviews and in one I was joined by another close friend, Justin Bieber. (Justin was probably my first celebrity friend because whilst I was recording my first song, Scooter invited him to meet me.) In the interview, we played 'how well do we know each other?' and it's safe to say we're very good friends.
The show was about to start so me, Matt, Nash and Cam all took our seats near the front. The boys have all been put in the same category, best male internet star, so only one of them can win. The show started and it was absolutely amazing. I won all the awards that I was nominated for so that's a bonus! Justin was throwing an after party so me and the boys went there. We were all dancing when Nash said, "hey Izzy, you should meet some more of our friends" I nodded and we walked towards a table with 7 other guys there. "Izzy, this is Shawn, Carter, Aaron, Taylor, Hayes, Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky" wait...did he just say...Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky? Oh no.
