Lying on the Road

Now, The 21st of March.

The I walked down the street waiting on Mia to arrive.

"God where is she, she was supposed to meet me here 10 minutes ago? Some best friend" I said out loud.

I heard a noise but I ignored it because I saw a cat run across the street. I heard it again, this time it sounded like footsteps running towards me. I quickly turned and walked up the alley behind the café I work at. In that alley was where I never thought I would see them, those three men. The guy in the middle (I think he is the leader), had long dark hair, grey eyes, and was staring at me, like he was staring into my soul.

The guy on the right was, the guy I wish I never meet, I will tell you more about him later.

The second man/ the guy on the left, had blu-. My thoughts were cut off when the man on the leader's left said.

"What's a girl like you so pretty, yet so weak doing out here?" He let it roll off his tongue like it was dripping with poison.

"Nothing!" I squeaked "I- I was just waiting to meet my boyfriend." My imaginary boyfriend that will never come.

The men all snickered then looked at each other and laughed.

"What's your name?" The leader's right asked. Good he didn't recognise me. We had meet before, one too may times to be exact.

They started walking closer and circling me. They were standing so close I could tell one of them was touching my hair, he lowered his hand so now it is touching my cheek.

Just like that my reflexes kicked in, I push the leader into the others, and then ran. I ran so fast I couldn't hear them yelling at me. Out of nowhere I saw a blur, and then I was tackled to the ground. I screamed then to see it was Ryder.
