This is the last day I'll be in Texas, thinking about just makes her tear up. I really don't have any friends but my bestfriend Jasmine and God knows I'll miss that girl.
"Amani its your last day of school down here you dont want to be late."
I rushed to my mom car before she left me. My mother been a single mom for about my whole life and I love her to pieces. She taught me that a you have to work for things in your life, nothing gets handed to you. Thats why we're moving to New Orleans, she got offered a well paying job as a surgeon in Childrens hospital.
When we pulled up to my school all I can think about is how its my last day. My last time seeing fake people, hating ass females, & lying ass niggas. I'm actually kind of happy that I'm moving.

"So when you get to New Orleans make sure you find me some fine ass dudes, they aint shit over here." Jasmine was the type of girl to fall in love fast & always get her heart broken. She have always been a perfect example of me not getting a boyfriend.
"Girl you know you don't need another boyfriend after Marcus."
"Fuck that nigga, I need someone who's gonna excite me.. Treat me me right." I walked off, we had this conversation a hundred times but she just dont listen..
*Skips to 3rd period*
"Can you please get Amani Royal to check out"
When the lady came over the intercom I just knew that it was over. My life in Texas was gone & behind me, I told everyone my last goodbyes & left to catch my plane.
4 hours later
We was finally in New Orleans, it was smaller than I thought. However, Our house was big too big if you ask me. I was unpacking & listening to music for about a hour already.
"Amani you know you can go walk around & look around the neighborhood it's pretty outside today"
I thought about it, what if I got lost? But I didnt care I needed fresh air anyways. I decided to walk to the park thats down the street as I was walking I passed up this cute boy. He was staring at me but I ignored him & looked in my phone.
