Chapter 2

Amani p.o.v
"Say love"
He said it a second time after I obviously ignored him the first time. He was kinda cute, but he had alot of tattoos & hung around boys who look like they was in a gang. Those are the type of boys I definitely dont get want to get involved with so I kept walking faster.
I wasnt walking fast enough because he caught up to me & pulled me closer to him.
"Say ma, I know you heard me calling you"
"I did but that don't mean I was gone stop"
"I see you a lil mean one, why you walking around here with no protection. Where your boyfriend"
"First of all I dont need no protection I'm grown, second of all I dont want nor NEED no boyfriend so get your hands off me"
He stared at me like something was wrong but I didnt care. I dont need no man to control my life & tell me what to do. As I was walking back home I saw him watching me. I cant lie, he was cute, but all boys are the same.

*2 hour later*
"I could've sworn I saw this house ten minutes ago."
Its been about two hours & I still couldn't find my house all I've been doing is walking in circles! Its dark outside & my phone died.. So basically I'm fucked.
"Say ma, you lost"
I turned around & saw the same boy from earlier in a car on side me. I really needed directions but I don't trust him, however I had no choice.
"My name is Amani & I need directions home"
"And my name is Hector & you ain't getting no help if you dont change that attitude"
I rolled my eyes & looked at him to see if he was serious. & he stared at me with a smile. I smiled back & asked nicely
"Can you please bring me home Hector."
"Get in the car baby"
I smiled, this time it was a real smile. His accent was so sexy & he was so sexy, but he's a boy & they only want one thing out of women. The car ride was awkward & silent for a good while.
"So I never seen you around here, where you from & how old are you?"
"Uh, I moved down here from Texas & I'm 17 what about you?"
"18, you pretty yeah. Why you don't have a boyfriend"
"Boys waste your time, so what's the point.. Anyways my house right there."
He looked at me confused, & layed his hand on lap. That made my whole body shiver, I know I shouldnt be getting turned on but he's so sexy. My body all of sudden got hot & my stomach started tingling.. He licked his lips & started leaning towards me, I started leaning in too. Then I pulled back before anything happened. Im not that easy & if he really wanted me he have to work for it.
"Uh I gotta go, bye."
I hopped out the car fast & sped walk to my door without looking back. All night all I can thing about was his smile, his eyes, his smell, him, Hector.
