Lets add some friendship tension, shall we
>:)
---------
A blur of scales, and suddenly the wolf was pinned down by Dragon. Wolf snapped at Dragon and, once wolf had calmed down enough to realize who it was, they growled in a heated argument.
Meanwhile, Brian ran to his friend. Abe was semi-conscious and his shoulder was bleeding profusely.
"Abe!" Brian grabbed his friend, "Abe, stay with me buddy! I'm here, it's going to be okay, just hold on."
"It's not okay!" one of the nearby prisoners yelled, "your 'friends' did this to him! How can you trust them?"
Brian glanced over at the mystics. Dragon had gotten off of Wolf and wolf hung his head when Brian looked at him.
"No," Brian faced the prisoner, "Abe attacked Wolf." He smiled towards Wolf, "besides, we all have our bad sides don't we?" The wolf smiled at his forgiveness and proceeded to help Brian drag Abe into a small room to tend to his wounds.
"It's deep." Wolf stated.
Brian bit his lip, what was he supposed to do? He was never a doctor. But Cohen's dad was...
"Go get Cohen." Brian commanded.
"What?"
"The guy in 'the back'" Brian replied, "go get him. His dad had medical experience, maybe he does too.
Wolf shrugged and trotted into the next room.
Cohen was watching a drop slither its way across the floor when he heard a pitter-patter of paw steps. He looked up to see the wolf.
"What?" Cohen laughed humourlessly, "come to finish me off?"
Wolf cocked his head. "You know Brian wouldn't allow it."
Cohen stared at the wolf. Did it just... speak? Wolf took no notice of his confusion and untied his hands.
Cohen stood up and faced the wolf. "What does he want from me?" Cohen growled.
"Your help."
Cohen laughed again, "And he thinks I'll just give it to him? We were friends once but things change!"
"Are you still friends with Abe?" Wolf asked nonchalantly
"Yes..."
"Then I suggest you hurry up and follow me unless you want him to die." With that the wolf strutted off, followed by a grumbling Cohen.
Upon entering the room Cohen saw Abe and ran over. He quickly examined Abe's wound. "I'll need a wet cloth, and it better be clean!" Cohen commanded. Seconds later a cloth was being handed to him. He looked up and saw, to his surprise, Brian.
"What? Had nothing better to do than watch a man die?" Cohen growled dryly, accepting the cloth anyhow.
"He isn't going to die, is he?"
"Not if I can help it." Cohen replied, "Not that you'd care."
"Cohen."
"Shut up!" Cohen yelled at Brian, causing him to step back and collecting growls from both Wolf and Dragon. "Just... leave!" Cohen growled before going back to his work. Brian sighed and left the room, along with Wolf and Dragon.
"Guard the room," Brian said to neither one in particular before walking out.
"So, the traitor returns." Commented Jason mockingly. Brian kept on walking till he was outside in the cold, windy, freedom.
