Skylar's POV

"Hello?"

"Hi Sky, it's Cameron!"

"Ahh" I haven't really talked to Cameron since that night in the park, so I'm a little nervous that he wants his answer...

"Wow, you sound so excited to be talking to me... What happened?"

"I ahm, my mom is having some problems with bills and I am just a little worried..." What? I didn't lie! It's not only the status of my relationship with Cameron that is bothering me right now!

"Ohh..."

"But it's okay I am going to find a manager and I hope I can win enough money to help her."

"And how's that going?"

"Ahm, not so good... but I'm sure I will find someone!"

"You know... I have a manager you could've just asked..."

"I know but..."

"But?"

"I don't know, I didn't want you to think that I am using you."

"Where the hell did that came from? That's so stupid! I will talk to Richard, you don't need to search anymore, okay?"

"Thank you! But I'm sure that's not why you called."

"Oh yeah, me and the boys are going to these new karaoke place, do you want to come?"

"Of course! can I bring the girls?"

"Yes, you can."

"Lindy is here, bye!"

"Ouch, you're making me feel like the second option here!" – He said ironically.

"Look look at him! Jealous of my best friend, hun? Bye babe, I really got to go!"

I hang up and put the phone in my bag has well as my wallet and I walk out the house with my best friend.

"So, where do you want to go first?" – I asked her when we arrived at the shopping center.

"Oh ice cream!"

After ordering some ice cream, me and Lindy sat down to talk a little.

"So, how are things going?" – She asked me.

"A little weird... It's just, I have so much in my head right now."

After filling Lindy up with all the recent details, she looked at me with clear preoccupation in her eyes.

"You know you can count on me for everything, don't you?"

"Of course, but changing the subject... You and Sam!?"

After another half an hour of gossip I spent the rest of the afternoon helping Lindy shop, because she was feeling like trying new styles. Oh, I almost forgot to tell her about the karaoke night!

"Lindy, today the guys are going to be his new karaoke, you're coming right?"

"Of course!"

I took my phone out of my bag and I quickly text Maggie and Lox, who texted me back in a matter of seconds saying they'd come.
