Chapter Seven

Ellie's Point of View

One Year, Six Months Later

Epilogue

So I finally got my justice along with two other woman effected by Isiah Noels. His fans eventually apologized for their stupid, stupid terror and words of threats. I took it all in strides especially when Isiah was sentenced to forty years of jail time and ten years of probation plus a profile on the sexual predators' lists. Also during the trail, I got Isiah to sign all his rights over to me. From there he couldn't hold fetus over my head. Fetus was never and never will be his.

Twenty-three weeks after that whole mess, on Christmas day, my little fetus was born. Even though throughout my pregnancy I didn't feel any connection to fetus, the second it arrive I look in to Fetus' brown eyes and fell in love. Fetus' legal name is Ava James Holms, a baby girl. Tucker fell more in love with Ava than anybody else; she broke his cold heart. I tried to tell Tucker that he didn't need to do that but he said Ava needed a father and damn-it weather I liked it or not Tucker was her father.

Then that spring after the snow melted and the sun shined, Sage married her prince Marty in a simple way. Married in the backyard of our childhood home with a family barbeque, it was perfect. Everything about it was perfect. Though since the wedding, we rarely have seen Sage or Marty, either working or traveling the world. We are all beyond happy for them as they have both found their soul mate.

There is Alex and Trash. That spring Trash went back to Medical School, while Alex moved back to her parents' house. I see her practically every day after work, as she helps me in the evening with Ava especially when Tucker is working late. Though they are separated, their long distance relationship is the strongest it has ever been.

Secondly there is my parents and Tucker's parents. Hell, they are the same. Never going to change except they have stocked Ava's room with everything she will need until she is at least twenty.

Lastly but certainly not the least, Tucker and me finally got married, just this last fall. We decided why the hell not, we already have a beautiful daughter, we might as well do the whole commitment.

In the end, everyone is doing just fine now.

--

"Momma?" The one year old laughed out as she pulled on my nose. I laugh at her cuteness before setting her down, helping my mother cut the cake. We argue for a minute before I realize that my mother will always be right. "SAGE!" I scream out as my older sister waddles into the family room.

"ELLIE!"

"DELPHINE!" My mother screams because her best friend just ran her hands through my daughter's cake.

"SELENE!"

Both Sage and I look at each other before we yell, "ALEX!" We laugh out as Alex jumps a little bit, putting her hands over Ava's ears, she uses colorful threatening words. While the rest of us, laugh it off.

Tucker places Ava in her high chair, while the rest of them move into the kitchen watching Ava. "She is too cute," Delphine says playing with the baby. My mother passes the cake to me before I pass it to Tucker. "Ready, set, go," Mr. Holms laughs out as his granddaughter smashes her face into the pink princess cake. Everyone starts singing out, while I watch each of their happy smiling faces.

"Happy birthday, Ava James!" They finish while Ava destroys the pink cake.

"Picture, Picture," Marty shouts as we stand around Ava's high chair. Each couple paired off around Ava, who happens to look up and smile at the right time. Photogenic child, if I don't say so myself. We smile together creating Ava's first birthday memories.

"Momma," Ava's only word, "momma."
