Vocaloid Carolling

*preps myself to write this before Christmas comes*

Before I start this chapter, I would just like to wish everyone Happy Holidays and a New Year; I hope next year will be even better than this one! I know not too many people will read this before the Holiday Season is over, but to those of you who are, Happy Holidays again! Thank you and I hope you enjoy this chapter I managed to put together. *bows*

Miku stood in front of the door of the mansion, taking a quick head count of everyone that was going to carol on Christmas eve. Rin, Len, Luka, Kaito, Meiko, Gumi, Piko, Teto, Lily, Li... they needed one more! Wait.

Miku wasn't counting herself.

Once they were sure everyone was there, they headed out. It was carolling season and they needed to be the first ones out to not get the super annoyed neighbors. They walked from door to door with bright smiles... but only one person stayed to listen, and once they started singing the door was quickly shut in their face.

"Why isn't this working?!" Meiko yelled as she tried to figure it out.

"People hate carolers, simple." Len explained, but no one listened.

"Do people just hate us?" Rin asked.

"No, they just hate carolers!" Len restated, but still, no one listened. He sighed and crossed his arms, before muttering "typical.."

"I know! What if instead of Christmas carols-" Lily started.

"No" Piko tried to interject

"We..."

"No"

"Sang our songs!"

"God dammit"

"That's a great idea, Lily!" Li congratulated and looked at the rest, "Figure out your songs, everyone!"

Once everyone did, they all walked to the next house. Once the man at the door opened the door, Len begrudingly started up the music.

... They were quickly left alone at the doorstep.

"...Well that didn't work" Rin pointed out.

"There's gotta be something!" Miku protested and hit her hand with her fist. She was filled with determination.

"Look, can't we just go home? No one likes carolers." Luka said with a sigh as Len yelled "I ALREADY SAID THAT", but, as per usual, no one listened.

"No! We have to find someone!" Gumi yelled as Miku nodded.

"Luka, Len, how about we three go home and leave them" Piko asked. The two L's nodded and walked back to the mansion with Piko.

"Awww why'd they leave?" Gumi asked. The rest of them only shrugged.

-Two Hours Later-

The remaining Vocaloids- which only included Miku, Lily, and Meiko- walked back to the mansion after literally no one stayed to listen to them caroling. Once they walked in, Luka was sitting in the chair reading as Rin sat beside Len on the floor. Li sat on the loveseat with Gakupo beside him. Gumi and Piko were probably asleep, it was pretty late. Meito had been gone for like a month and no one knows why. Kaito was also nowhere to be seen and Teto was probably in the basement. No one knows why but she usually is.

"Welcome back" Luka called as she heard the door open and looked at the clock. "Ah, looks like it's midnight" she pointed out with a smile. Everyone turned to the clock as it chimed it's midnight striking. The two blondes sitting on the ground looked at eachother excitedly before Rin jumped up.

"Guys! That means it's Christmas!" She cheered before kicking Len "Which means it's our Birthday soon!"

"We stayed out so late that we were barely even here for it?" Miku muttered before walking over to Luka sleepily and plopping down in front of her.

"Seems so. Get some rest. Well, if you can, Rin's seeming to start a riot. Len, quiet her down, won't you?" Luka asked as Len nodded.

And so, as everyone slowly started to file back upstairs and to their rooms to sleep, the spirit of the holidays stayed with them. Well, for Rin it was the spirit of her and Len's birthday, but that was for another time...
