Star and the boy sat at random table in science. Today was a lab day. "All we have to do is follow the directions and mixing potions." the boy said putting on his safety glasses. Star did the same. "You look nice in glasses." "Oh stop it! You're too kind!" Star said.
They quickly got started on the potions and quickly finished. It only took them about 7 minutes. Star looked disappointed. "What's wrong?" asked the boy. "The potion isn't original enough!" Star replied. "It's just like everyone else's!" The boy nodded. "That's the way life is sometimes." "Not with me!"
Star took her hands and covered the boy's eyes. A few seconds later, the boy was able to see. Instead of the purple liquid, the creation was now a rainbow colored blob that moved. "How'd you do that?!"
Star didn't answer. All the she did was rub her left hand as if in pain and her beautiful orange eyes were a shade brighter. Before the boy could ask if Star was okay, the bell rung.
