Dear Friend,

Surprise! I'm an alien. I would have told you but I'm not supposed to. That's like the number one thing in the alien code, 'never tell a human your real identity'. I guess I just broke that. But that's okay because I know you won't tell. I know what you're probably thinking, 'Woah I had a friend that was an alien?!' and the answer is yes, yes you did. The aliens came to Earth to see how much different it was from outer space. We have 9 places to choose from (not including Pluto ha!) and we thought we'd give Earth a shot. I'm originally from Mars and we heard the humans wanted to come here. So if you guys came to our place, we thought we'd go to your place. But we're a lot smarter than you guys so we took a look (sorry human) honestly, I like Earth! I really do! People in the neighborhood said that we might be able to permanently transfer to Earth! Wouldn't that be cool?! I might be able to see you again! I really enjoyed having you as a friend. I know you only had to guts to talk to me one day out of the 14 I had seen you in school but hey that's okay, when I come back we'll have plenty of time to hang out. I'm really glad I can call you my friend from Earth. You weren't so focused on my looks and features but you were focused on me. The real Star. I really hope that your knowledge of me being an alien doesn't hurt our friendship. I really do like you. I can't wait to see you again!
