-Honor's POV-
The night before had been amazing, to say the least, but I was most definitely feeling it today. The crowd had been incredible, even if they didn't know any of the songs that weren't covers, it honestly felt like my whole life had been leading up to that night. I was so happy and couldn't stop grinning the whole time, none of us fucked up, surprisingly enough, and the majority of us got completely wasted at the bar with a load of the backstage workers and a few people from the crowd afterwards. I had no idea where Addison and Zack were, or if they were even home but I was on cloud nine, they were old enough to sort themselves out.
I managed to climb out of bed and find my jacket, I went through the pockets, finding a half empty packet of cigarettes and a lighter, a few scrunched up pieces of paper with numbers and names on them, I chucked them to the side, not really paying much attention to them at all. I'd check them later, when my hangover had passed. I staggered over to the window and pulled it open, then reached over to my iPod that was on the side of the black chest of drawers next to the window, switching it on, a bit of pop punk wont hurt anyone. I put it on low so my head didn't pound so much, lighting a cigarette up and leaning against the wall as I observed the dark clouds as they gathered around the sky. It was probably going to rain, nothing wrong with that.
In the space of about two minutes I had entered a daydream world, just staring aimlessly at the clouds thinking about how perfect last night was and how I wanted another gig as soon as possible, although the chances of that in such a city were so slim when there are tons of other great local bands out there. Then the sound of a car pulling up in my own driveway pulled me out of my trance. I frowned, trying to figure out who it could possibly be, considering my mum wouldn't be back until at least Monday. Then I realised who the car belonged to, my dad.
I've never moved so fast in my life. I quickly stubbed the cigarette out in the ashtray, before shoving it into my drawer and then grabbing a spray, spraying everywhere. I wasn't really allowed to smoke, even though my parents did, they had a massive go when they caught me doing it, I didn't really like being on their bad sides, considering they are my parents.
I quickly ran downstairs hoping I hadn't left a destructive path behind me last night, even though my parents may seem easy going when it comes to their kids, they are strict. Even if my dad isn't here half the time, he doesn't like mess, or disrespectful behaviour, or anything slightly out of the normal. Which is ironic really. Oh, and another thing. I don't actually call him dad, I call him by his actual name, Andy. Why? I have no idea. Ever since I can remember he was always Andy, my parents hadn't taught me that, it just happened and I never really grew out of it.
