Elle's alarm went off with an annoying ring, at 7:00 a.m. She didn't have to be at school till 8:30 but it usually took her a while to get ready. Most of that time used to try and tame her messy red hair. So for an hour and 15 minutes she got dressed, washed her face, brushed, sprayed and brushed her hair some more, put on a touch of makeup (as her mother didn't think she should wear much), slipped on shoes and walked out the door to the bus stop. When the bus pulled up she smiled at the bus driver and sat in the very back seat where all her other friends were. For the short 10 minute bus ride they talked about celebrities, clothes, the awful homework there math teacher had gave them that night, etc. Etc. And finally they pulled up to the school.
