So, what does a father of two beautiful children like to do in his spare time?

Well, besides watching RuPaul's Drag Race with my gay son, I really like going online. I started in middle school with a website called Neopets. Marie-Ann and I had accounts, as did Allie, Jayk, Morgan, and Natalie. Most of our conversations were through chatting on that website.

Hang on. I'm typing this in Notepad and it's bothering me.

     Okay. Now I’m in Word.

Anyway, the six of us had a blast on that website. But eventually we outgrew it. After all, it IS a website aimed at kids. Therefore, the next thing I got involved in was a MMORPG, which is a long word that sounds like you’re attempting to say “gimme me more happy gee,” which is silly and makes no sense. It’s an acronym that means ‘massive multi-player online role playing game.’ It’s like World of Warcraft, basically. You run around and kill things and talk to people.

     I had a blast.

I was suddenly able to talk to hundreds of people with different backgrounds and interests from all over the place. It was horribly addicting.

But then Marie-Ann helped me to discover the joys of sexual experiences and I left it all behind.

Currently I have fun on a few websites. A couple blogs, a couple comics, some online manga. There’s also a forum I go on called YakiFun. YakiFun is a basic Japanese-interest website for English users where you create some sort of avatar and talk with other people. I’ve met a few people on there I like to keep up with. I’m pretty sure all of them are forty-year-old virgins living in their parents’ basement. All except for one.

Mykayla was a girl who was brutally honest about herself. We met on a board about one of our favorite anime series, Cahier de la Mort (The Japanese really seem to like the French for some reason). Someone was bashing the series, much to everyone’s distain, and people were trying to stop the offender.

“if u have nothing nice 2 say, dont say n e thing at all, baka!”

Of course, those attempts were stupid and didn’t do anything to stop the dickhead. Then Mykayla stepped in.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if you were turned on by the only female main character of the story.”

Upon reading that, my beverage of choice shot out of my nose onto the floor. This random chick was pretty damn awesome, I thought. I replied to her post, saying that same thing. She thanked me, but I could tell she was skeptical of a random person thinking she was awesome.

Soon, we started talking on the website’s instant messenger. I found it odd that she would suddenly log off without warning, but I was willing to accept it. She told me she lived in an area that I like to call “Buttfuck, Indiana.” I just assumed that due to her un-ideal location, she had a spotty internet connection, in the same way that one can have a spotty signal on their cell phone.

I told Mykayla about myself, how I’m a seventeen-year-old who’s married with two children, barely getting by in school and at work. She said my story was very real, and because of that, she had no reason to believe that I was a predator. After hearing her story, I had no reason to believe she was Chris Hansen about to get me to take a seat over there.

Mykayla is fifteen. She has an older brother who doesn’t speak and two other dead siblings. Her parents appear to be god-fearing bible thumpers who, instead of trying to help their children as much as possible and giving them support and love, pray that things get better and give their children the bare essentials. She’s not allowed to be on the computer or hang out with her non-existent friends. Mykayla also has multiple-personality disorder, which is a disease that I think is totally cool and I’ve always wanted to befriend someone with it.

     And now I have.

Hello! Sorry I haven't written anything in a while. I had a serious case of the allergies and the writer's block. Then Jessica (Writer of Mykayla's chapters) was all like "You need to write more for our story!" and I was all like "Oh fuck, you're right!" and here I am.
