Shooting Star:

Promise Starling has wished upon shooting stars her whole life. Usually her dreams do come true because her parents were always listening. Her parents had money and everyone knew. But that's beside the point. In this story her parents money can't help her and won't.

Promise Starling had gotten into a tragic accident when she was fifteen. She stopped wishing upon shooting stars when he wishes didn't come true. Until one night she felt the need to do it. She wished and wished on every star she saw. "I wish to be healed." She whispered as every star passed by. It was also her lucky night there was a meteor shower that night. She had wished on everyone. Which was hundreds. The more she wished the more she felt like she was going to be healed.

Little did she know she needed a different kind of healing.

Melody Emeralds, a girl from the small town of Brierwood. Her and her best friend had just tried to commit suicide together since they have been bullied. Her best friend is Everlyn Cage. They've been bullied since the age of six. Finally they had enough and tried to commit that terrible thing. They had failed and were separated from each other. Forbidden from talking till they were both okay again.

Melody is having a hard time without her best friend. School is even worse. Instead of being know as 'Melody and Everlyn, the loners'. She's now known as 'The Loner'. Everyone at school avoids her. Until the new kid Emery Lyrics decides to give her a chance.

Maybe the stars will shine out for Melody.
