Ashley's P.o.v

I woke up the next day stretched my arms out as I sat up and glanced at the last two boxes I had left to unpack.

"Good morning." I heard a voice as my heart jumped in my chest.

"Jesus Christ." I mumbled as I glanced over to see perfect white teeth and bright red hair in the corner of my eye.

"Do you ever knock on my front door or do you always sneak in?" I questioned as I glanced over to him and watched him chuckle.

"Your mom let me in so therefore I did knock."

I rubbed my face and groaned as I glanced underneath my blanket. "Can you like turn away for a second I need to put pants on."

"And miss the show?" He smirked as I glared at him intensely. "Okay okay." He raised his arms up in surrender as he turned away from me.

I quickly got up and slipped on a pair of grey sweats as I looked back over to see Michael staring and biting his lip.

"Are you kidding me? You're disgusting." I sighed as I tied my hair back into a ponytail.

"Hey you were the one not wearing pants. I'm a guy you can't blame me." He chuckled a bit more as he got up.

"I wanna take you somewhere." He mumbled as I felt his breath down my neck.

"I don't think that's a good idea." I looked down at my feet as I felt one of his index fingers slip under my chin to make me face him.

He was so beautiful.

His eyes were a pretty light green blue colour and his lips were plump and pink. Kissable.

I shook my head. "I had a really bad dream last night... Atleast I think it was a dream. It's really making me frightened to be around you." I whispered as he raised an eyebrow at me.

"It's just a dream Ash, I wouldn't hurt you." He mumbled as he pulled me into a hug.

"Y-you are moving too fast for me Michael..." I whispered as I pulled away from him. His eyes I watched from a beautiful light green turned black as night.

"WHY THE FUCK WONT YOU LET ME IN?!" He yelled as I jumped as he walked close to me and I backed up against the wall. I was trapped.

"Please don't hurt me." I whispered as he punched the wall beside my head in frustration.

"Oh love I'm not gonna hurt you." He whispered as a tear slipped down my face.

"Ashley breakfast is ready!" I heard my mom yell as I slipped under his arm and walked to the door, only to be dragged back by his arm.

"You're mine. I'm not gonna let you go." He whispered into my ear as I felt his lips kiss the side of my head.

"Leave me alone." I mumbled and got lose from his grasp as I ran downstairs.

"Ashley there's a boy here who goes to your school he lives down the street." My mom spoke as I glanced over to see a boy with short dark hair and tan skin.

"Hi I'm Calum." He smiled as he extended his hand out for me to shake.

"Hi I'm Ashley." I smiled back as I shook his hand and sat down.

"Where's the neighbour Michael?" My mom asked as I chewed my bottom lip and shivered.

"He uh.. He's using the bathroom." I mumbled as I saw Michael walk down the stairs.

"Food smells good." He smiled and sat down beside me.

"Thank you." My mom spoke as we began to eat.

I talked to Calum about school and about his home life. He's only been living here for about 2 years. He loves it though and promised it would grow on me.

Michael got jealous everytime me and Calum interacted and would squeeze my thigh underneath the table which hurt.

I wasn't Michaels property. He barley knew me. I can talk to whoever the hell I want to.

"So you live next door? Weird I haven't seen you just your mom going in and out of the house." Calum told Michael as I watched Michael freeze up.

"Uh yeah well I'm home schooled so I usually stay inside. I don't really like going anywhere." He mumbled as I watched him stab his fork into his eggs.

Calum turned quiet after that which was really odd.

"I'm gonna go get ready for school." I sighed and got up as I went back to my room and changed.

I slipped on a black mini skirt as i tucked in my "I'm only happy when it rains" t shirt into the skirt and slipped on my black converse.

I did my makeup like I usually do and straightened my wavy dirty blonde hair.

"Looking good." I heard someone say as I glanced to see Luke leaning in the door way.

"You aren't real. I'm dreaming." I mumbled and sighed as I closed my eyes and opened them to see him still standing there and smirking at me.

"Oh I am real. And you definitely aren't dreaming Ashley. Have a good day at school. Atleast Michael won't hurt you there. I saw everything." He winked as he walked away.

"Wait Luke-" I stated and went after him but he was already gone.

"Who's Luke?" I turned around to see Calum looking at me confused.

"Oh it's just an old friend of mine. What are you doing up here?" I asked and folded my arms.

I watched the tanned boy scratch the back of his neck nervously. "Your mom wanted me to come get you so me and you could maybe walk to school together and I can show you around?"

I smiled and nodded. "Yeah I'm ready and that would be awesome let's go." I followed him down the stairs.

"Where's Michael?" I asked my mom who was washing the dishes in the kitchen.

"Oh he went home he said he wasn't feeling so well." She spoke back as I just nodded and grabbed my backpack, slinging it over my shoulder.

"Okay well me and Calum are off to school. I love you mom bye." I stated as I waved to her and walked out the door with Calum.

"I'm glad he's gone he's kinda weird." Calum stated as I shrugged.

"Yeah he's a little off he has his good and bad days like all of us I guess."

"I can see what an overprotective boyfriend he is. He kept staring at me with basically daggers in his eyes." Calum shivered at the thought as I bit my lip and chuckled a bit.

"What's so funny?"

"He's not my boyfriend Calum. Far from it."
