“Oh my gosh!” Claudia squeels. “Look how beautiful this place is.” She says. “Yeah, and you know what it’s even more beautiful at night time” you say. You’ve just landed in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. This was your regular holiday destination. Every year, in the summer holiday you and your parents went to Chersonissos. You knew Crete like your pocket. You absolutely adored it. You always stayed at a small appartment that was on top of a hill. When you finally arrived you were welcomed by Katrina and Demitri. The owners of the appartments and good friends of you and your parents. “Hello darling.” Katrina says. “Hi Katrina, nice to see you again. This is Claudia.” “Hello Claudia nice to meet you.” “Hello Katrina and Demitri.” Claudia says. “So you’re staying in appartment nr. 7 so that is the one you always stay in. We hope you have a good time here and I’ll see you girls around. Your mom also actually asked me to keep an eye on you so behave Laura!” Demitri says. You laugh: “Of course I behave.” You say and you walk to you and your friends appartsment. “This are gonna be the best two weeks ever!” Claudia says. “Definitely.” You say. You unpack your suitcases and take a short shower to fresh up a bit. You’ve been in the airplane for 3 ½ hour so you could use some refreshement. It was now 7 PM local time. “I’m hungry, can we eat something?” Claudia asks you. “Yeah let’s go to Katrina and Demitri’s restaurant.” You say. “Do they also have an restaurant?!” Claudia asks. “Yes, Demitri is a brilliant cook.” You say. You enter the restaurant. It’s not crowded at all, it never was because it’s on top of hill and most people are lazy as fuck and stay at the beach while the best restaurants and shops are here. Claudia and you took a seat and waited for Katrina to come. “Hey girls, are you here to drink something or do you also wanna have dinner?” Katrina asks. “We like to have dinner too.” You say. “I’ll grab the menu card for you babe.” Katrina says and you both smile at her. “Thanks.” You both say. You both look at the menu card and talk about what you gonna order.
Five boys enter the reception of the appartment + restaurant complex to check in for their appartment. “Hello boys, how can I help you.” Katrina says. “Hello, we are here to check in for our appartment on the name of Brooks.” A boy says. “Yes, come with me please. She grabs a key and lead them to their appartment. “You can unpack your suitcases, make yourself feel home, just don’t break anything please. You can also first have dinner if you like that in our restaurant.” Katrina says. “I want to eat!” An other boy says and the others agree with him so they follow Katrina to the restaurant. “I’ll grab some menu cards for you guys.” Katrina says. The boys take a seat and take the menu card from Katrina.
“Do you allready know what you want to order Laura and Claudia?” Katrina asks you. “Yeah I want the burger menu.” Claudia says. “And I would like to have the souvlaki menu.” You say. “Okay and what do you girls wanna drink?” Katrina ask you. “A white wine for me please.” You say. “And I also would like to have a white wine.” Claudia says. “Okay, oh you see the boys that sit there.” Katrina asks while pointing towards the boys that had checked in and entered the restaurant a few moments ago. “They are from Australia, you guys’ age, they stay here for two weeks across from your appartment.” Katrina says, winks and than walks away. You both giggle and take a look at the boys who seem to enjoy them self.
After a couple of minutes the drinks arrive. “To a perfect holiday!” Claudia says. “And hopefully we’ll end it with some hot aussies.” You say and laugh. “Cheers” you both say and than take a sip of the wine. After you finished dinner and stayed at the bar in the restaurant for a little longer you decided to go to your appartment because you were quite exhausted from the flight.
