Crescent City is located in northern California (about 12 miles south of the Oregon border on the coast). They get a mere 75 inches of rain a year. When its not raining, its often foggy. Their high school is Del Norte H.S., home of the Warriors. Crescent City is surrounded by redwood forests with plenty of wild life (deer, bear, cougar, etc.). It's a pretty depressing little town (like Forks), who’s main income now stems from the Pelican Bay State Prison - a maximum security prison just a few miles out of town.
