Chapter 3: Encounter

Touka PoV:

I was walking down the street at about 11:30pm because I was going to see my best friend yoriko kosaka.
Something was bugging me, it just didn't feel right and *sniff* *sniff* that smell. It was human.
I walked down an alley, there was blood on the walls and corpses on the floor
Touka: "I-I'm sorry" you said bowing your head
You carried on walking to hear
shouting; hiding behind trash cans you watched the scene play out.
Ghoul: "y-you fuck! GAH" the ghoul said as a dove shoved a quinque through the ghouls stomach
Dove: "TELL ME WHERE EYEPATCH IS!" He says twisting the quinque.
I tried to get a closer look at the ghoul, but all I could see was a black haired man with a familiar mask, it was a black half mask with with an eyepatch but it had a purple cross on it with a wide sadistic red smile. I remember. It was almost identical to kaneki's mask.
He must be part of kaneki's old gang after joining the aogiri tree, but he just vanished off every news channel and hasn't attacked any ghoul prisons.
Ghoul: "I DON'T KNOW! DON'T YOU THINK I WOULD BE WITH HIM IF I KNEW MOTHERFUCKER! AHH" he shouted while getting his left hand slowly cut off.
I reached into my bag (which I just so happened to have my rabbit mask in) and put the mask on and released my ukaku distracting the dove, I started with kicking him and then I backed up and fired crystallised bullets at him then i started to run out of stamina I could barely breathe and then the dove stopped moving.
Dove: "D-D-DAMN RABBIT" he said in agony and then in about 5 seconds he was ripped into two by a blood red rinkaku type kagune. His body fell to the floor, blood spilling out of the freshly dead corpse.
Ghoul: "thanks but I didn't need your help miss" he said in a muffled voice; damn I can't identify him!
Touka: "it's fine, is your hand ok?"
Ghoul: " I should be fine, well I'm gonna get going"
Touka: "wai-" before I could tell him to wait he sped off into the shadows. You check your phone (it reads 2:30)
Touka: " *sigh* gonna have to stay at yorikos house" you said walking out of the alley.
