I stare into the abyss as I look into the mirror, the pit expands and contracts, the pupils of my eyes two pits of darkness that record every moment of my pitiful existence in full clarity. They zoom in and out, expand and contract, just as the focus of a camera would only more sensitive to things such as just now as a group of girls walked. blocking the the door, the main light source, of this poorly lit restroom. After close examination I decide i look decent enough to come out so i pull myself away from the mirror. i slowly walk toward the passageway that will lead me to my judges and their subsequent jury, I walk out slightly smiling so that no one questions the frown that would otherwise be plastered across my face and as i normally do i fade into the background of the ground. As I stand close to the exit i look for a friend or two to talk to and see Trinity through the small crowd of people. As I walk up to her i see that she is talking to some of her friends so i walk into the group saying only my small hellos and mostly keeping quiet until the conversation dies down for a moment to really join in which doesn't take long but it gives me the time to really take in the details of who Trinity is talking to. A small group of four of us, two girls and another guy, I take note of their appearances as they each talk not forgetting to laugh and nod on cue. The guy is tall sort of large but his height makes it look natural, next is the girl to the left of the other guy long blonde hair short and slightly on the chubby side but it looks good on her, and last is the girl to my left. As I look over and I see a smile so soft and so genuine I can't help but smile a little myself, her brown hair hangs loosely over her shoulders as she peers across the room with her golden brown eyes, as I look into them I see something in her that is intense but soft kind gentle and most of all beautiful. I look in the direction of what she was staring at but see nothing. I continue to glare around the room as I continue to look for whatever is so intriguing to the girl I have only just met. I don't even know her name but i feel like there is something special about her, as i look back to the conversation I find myself at a loss for words as the guy across from me raises his an eyebrow. "W-what?" I say embarrassed, " Nothing, just looking around before we go to the park are you coming?" he says as he gestures toward the door. "Um, Yeah, sure. Lets go." I say and we all begin walking through the door to the park.
