Protector.

A/N: So I have decided to use (Name) because it sounds better to me than (Y/N) Okay carry on cx

I sigh in annoyance as Juvia keeps glaring at me. I finally have had enough. "You got a problem Juvia!? If so, please, enlighten me." I say, standing up and crossing my arms over my chest. 

"Juvia does. You're trying to steal Gray-sama away from me, and Juvia doesn't like that." She says, standing up and walking towards me.

I roll my eyes. "Juvia, Gray is just my best friend. You can keep your beloved Gray, I have no interest in him like that. Besides, I like someone else."

"Juvia Isn't convinced." she mocks, putting her hand on her hip. "Juvia doesn't understand why anyone likes you, your just an annoying freak."

"And you think this affects me why exactly?" I retort.

"Juvia thinks you are better off gone!" She yells. She immediately covers her mouth knowing she went to far. I hear gasps around the room and roll my eyes again, walking over to the job board and grabbing a random one. 

"I'm taking this job." I say, waving it in the air. "No one bother me." I say, walking out of the guild and going to the train station.

~Back at the guild, Natsu's P.O.V~ 

"Guess who's home!?" I yell, running into the guild hall.  

"Hey Natsu!" Says Lucy.  "How are you?" She asks. 

"Good, thanks. Where's (Name)? I'm all fired up!" I yell, looking around for her. Everyone casts their gazes to the ground. Juvia looks guilty. "What's going on?" I ask.

"She uh... Went on a job." Says Gray. Suddenly, Mira runs down the stairs from the S-class floor.

"Guys! We have a problem! That job that (Name) took? It's actually an S-class mission... I accidentally misread it and put it on the regular job board... I'm so sorry.." She looks down sadly. My eyes widen. What!? She needs our help! 

"Where is it?" I growl. 

"In the town of Kadanas..." She whispers. I growl again and run out of the guild, Happy following.

(Name's) P.O.V.

I grunt, getting back up and facing the monster again. This mission has been harder than I expected, but it's good for me to get rid of all my pent up anger. I growl and get into a fighting stance again. Within a flash, the monster changes our location, and I'm cornered.

"Damn" I mutter. The monsters all work together to make a huge beam of magic power and is about to shoot me. I give up and fall to my knees, tears coming out of the corners of my eyes. 

"(Name)!!!" I hear, but it's too late. I squeeze my eyes shut and wait for the impact but it never comes. "Fire Dragon: Roar!!!!!!!!" The person yells. I slowly open my eyes to see Natsu.

"Natsu!!" I yell, looking at him. He smiles warmly at me. I look down and realize that he just defeated all of the monsters with one roar. I hang my head down in shame. He comes over to me and lifts my chin. "Thanks." I mutter looking away from him. 

"You're welcome. I'll always be here to protect you... I promise you that." A blush spreads across my cheeks as he says that. 

"I'm sorry for being so weak..." I whisper. "I should've been able to do that..." 

"No. Mira accidentally gave you an S-class job... It's okay." He says, smiling at me and pulling me onto his lap. I feel really awkward in this position. 

"(Name).... I-I like you... I really like you..." He mutters, tucking my hair behind my ear. My eyes widen.

"Y-you do?" I ask, looking up at him. He nods and pulls my face closer to his. My lips are aching to touch his, to feel the warm soft sensation. "May I?" He whispers, his breath tickling my lips. I just reply buy smashing my lips against his own. He's taken aback at first, but quickly recovers and takes over the kiss. 

I let myself melt into the passionate kiss, not caring about anything else in the world, just enjoying his warm embrace. The feeling of his lips against mine is the best thing I have ever felt in my entire life. It's like a raging fire; the way he makes me feel. And he feeds it, and the fire keeps getting bigger and bigger and it's not gonna stop growing for as long as this continues. I never wanted it to end, but unfortunately we are humans and we need to breathe, so we break the kiss, gasping for air.

"(Name)." He whispers. The way his voice rasps when he says my name makes me want to attack him with another kiss.

"Yes?" I whisper back. 

"Be mine?" And all it takes is those two words to send me over the edge, pinning him to the ground and attacking his lips with another fierce kiss. When I finally pull away he chuckles. 

"I'll take that as a yes then?" he smiles at me. I giggle and nod.

And that's all it took. Since then we have been inseparable. You couldn't get us apart even if you used Erza. He was my protector. Ad soon, he would be the protector of our children.

Okay so thatwas really crappy but oh well, I'm going to try to make my one-shots a lot better from now on, I just needed to get a couple out so I can start getting requests. Anywhore, I will see you all next time!
