Chapter 9: The caves

Claire's pov
I'm relaxing in my tent thinking about what i said to Violet.
It makes me sad,i shouldn't say that,now she's hurt and maybe she won't forgive me
I just fell asleep.
Few minutes later i hear someone doing something next to me so i wake up.
I see Charlie packing my stuff
"What are you doing?" I asked
"Packing stuff,you're moving to the caves" he said smiling
"No way,peanut butter?" i said in disbelief
He just smiled and sit down next to me
He showed me an empty jar.
"It's empty" i said like he's crazy
"No it's not,it's the best bloody peanut butter i ever tasted,want some?" He pulled it to me
I laughed and started eating that imaginary peanut butter.

Violet's pov
I watch Charlie and Claire eating imaginary peanut butter and i think they have so much fun together
I have to forgive Claire,i know that she pissed off and besides that i really need friend
Before couple of ours me and Charlie were searching for peanut butter,he saw something on the floor and picked up that empty jar,i looked at him like he is crazy
And i said "come on Charlie,let's find that peanut butter"
He just said "but i found it" smiling and looking at the empty jar
I said "are you crazy" laughing
"No this will be even better than real one cause she it will make her laugh.
When he said that i though he's such an awesome man,he cares so much about her,everyone would wan't to have boyfriend like that
But then i remembered that i had boyfriend like that too,everything Tate cared about was me.
So now i decided to walk to Charlie and Claire to join them.
"Hey" i said waving to them
"Oh hey Violet" said Charlie
"H-hi" said Claire
"I forgive you for everything Claire" i said fast
"Really?" He asked smiling
"Yes of course i understand why you did that" i said
"Oh thank you" she got up and hugged me
Charlie looked at us smiling,it's weird that he didn't wanted to ask anything
"I'm going to the caves with Charlie,and you are coming with us" she said
"Oh i don't know" i said
"Yes you are going with us" she said strongly
I looked at Boone sitting far from us but he was looking at me too
"No Claire i'm staying here" i said finally
"Why?" Said Charlie
"Oh you know..." I shook my head to Boone so Charlie can see why
"Oh i see" said Charlie smiling
"What?" Said Claire
"I will tell you later" i said
"Ok then bye Vi,see you soon" said Claire
I walked to Boone
"Hey" i said
"Hey" he said
"So um are you going to the caves" said Boone
"No i'm staying here" i said
"Why?Caves are better,we have water there" he said disappointed that i'm not going with him
"I know Boone but i don't want to be there because of you,i can't be with you and you have to understand that" i said calmly
"Ok Violet just listen to me now,I don't know what happened yesterday,i was so desperate cause i got in fight with Shannon again,but the truth is i really like you even if i like Shannon more i would like to be with you,and i know that you like Tate more than me but i like Shannon more than you too,so we can still be friends,or maybe we can be together but nothing seriously" he said looking at me
"I know but i don't feel like being with someone now so i rather be just friends" i smiled
"Ok if that's what you want" he said smiling
"So are you coming to the caves now" he asked
"No,i still think that we have more chance for rescue here" i said
"Oh...then ok,bye" he said and got up
"Bye Boone see you tomorrow" i said waving
He smiled and waved me walking to the jungle

Claire's pov
I'm walking trough the jungle with Charlie smiling to him
"You'll see it's awesome in the caves,it's much better than on the beach" he said smiling
I just smiled to him
"Why Vi,didn't wanted to come" i couldn't keep it anymore
"Oh well she said that she will tell yoy,right?" He said
"Yes but it will be tomorrow,and i'm so curious" i said
"Well then wait" he said smiling
I knew that Charlie is going to tell me that,so i continued
"Charlie please..." I said
"Claire she told me to not tell anyone" he said carefully
"But she will tell me tomorrow so why not" i said
"Because..." He said
"Hey there" it was Boone
"Oh hey,where is Violet" asked Charlie
Why is he asking Boone for Violet,maybe they are together,maybe that's a secret.
"He decided to stay on the beach" he said disappointed
"Sorry man" said Charlie and then he remembered that he shouldn't say that,i pushed him a little like a sign to not do that again
"What?" Asked Boone confused
"Um nothing" Charlie said scared that he will recognize something
"Did...Violet told you something about us?" Boone asked looking at me then at Charlie and than again at me
We were just smiling nervously
"Nope" i said
"Oh so she did" said Boone nervously
"Boone don't worry you'r secret is safe with us" said charlie
"Ok ok i just don't want Shannon to find out about it" said Boone
"Ok she won't" i said supportive
"Thanks guys now i gotta hurry,Shannon is waiting for me" he said
"They are together?" I asked Charlie smiling
"No,no Violet don't want to be with him,he just want to be with her" said Charlie
"Oh" i said thinking about whole Tate thing
"Ok so we are here" said Charlie
I looked at the water in the caves it looked so clear,so cold and i was so thirsty.
"Want some water" Charlie asked already holding oceanic bottle
"Oh yes" i said thirsty
He took water and gave it to me
"Thank you Charlie" i said smiling
I really feel safe when i am with him,he always take good care of me.
