Drunk (in love)

You're on your way to work,but you don't feel good. You forgot to take your pills,and now you can't breath properly. You're lying on the ground. Everyone is looking at you probably thinking you're drunk. Your lids started to feel heavy, when someone helped you stand up. It was a boy. You never saw him before, but still...he was somehow familiar to you.

''Are you okay?'' he suddenly asked.

''I..I just forgot to take my pills in the morning. I..I can't breath properly.'' you struggled explaining it to him.

''What pills?'' he asked.

You told him the name of your pills while he was carrying you and taking you somewhere.

You find yourself in front of a pharmacy. He put you down and rushed in. He came out with a water bottle and your pills. He quickly gave them to you and said:

''Quickly..take them.''

You did as he said.

''Thank you so so much.'' you said out of your breath.

''No problem.'' he said with his deep voice and a light smile.

''Wait..I will pay you back.'' you started to search for your wallet in your bag.

''No,no. What are you doing? Are you alright? No way! I don't need that!'' he started bombarding you with no's.

''Why? It's expensive.'' you said.

''Don't care about it.'' he said.

''Okay then.'' you said. Your mom always told you to let the boys pay if they really want to.

''Oh..my name is Yongguk by the way.'' he said bowing to you.

''I'm Raven.'' you said bowing too.

''Nice to meet you.'' Yongguk said.

''Nice to meet you too and again thank you so so much. Everyone was looking at me like I'm drunk or something. If you wouldn't help me,I would probably be dead right now. I'm so thankful to you.'' you said while tightly hugging him.

''Uh..oh..it's normal..people are so mean sometimes..my mom always told me: to help people and to not be mean. '' he said hugging you back.

Your phone started to ring.

''Hello?'' you answered.

''Raven? Are you okay? Where are you?'' your 'boss' (Sarang) asked.

''Oh sorry,I'm late a bit..yes I'm fine.'' you said.

''Oh,okay..arrive safely.'' she said and hang up.

You looked at Yongguk:

''Sorry, I need to go to work. See you some other time, thank you.'' you bowed and wanted to go,but he held your wrist.

''Um..can..can I have your number?'' he said shyly,scratching his neck while still holding your wrist with his other hand.

''Of course,but you need to come with me to work then,I'm already late.'' you said.

''Okay,let's go then.'' he said.

You arrived to the coffee shop in less than 5 minutes.

''Hello unnie.'' you said to Sarang.She was really nice..she was like a bigger sister to you.

''Oh Raven..are you okay?'' she quickly ran to you.

''Yes..yes I'm fine.Thanks to Yongguk.'' you said.

''Oh..I see.'' she said smiling.

''Sit down,I'll be right back.'' you said to Yongguk,while quickly running to change your clothes.

''Who's that boy?'' Sarang asked you.

''It's Yongguk..I already told you. He saved me 10 minutes ago. I almost collapsed on my way here and he was the only one helping me..he bought the pills - that I forgot to take in the morning - for me.'' you said.

''Oh..you should've stayed at home then..taking some rest.'' she said worriedly.

''No,no..it's okay,I'm fine now. Let's go,we need to work.'' you said while hugging Sarang around her shoulders.

You both came out, but there was no one except Yongguk.

''Oh,so..can I at least buy you coffee for saving my life?'' you said to Yongguk.

He gave you a smile and nodded.

You made the coffee for him and you took it to give it to him. You sat down in front of him and placed the cup of coffee on the table.

''Thank you.'' he said and took a sip of the coffee. ''It's delicious..what coffee is this?'' he asked cutely.

''It's just a normal vanilla frappuccino with caramel swirl. It's my favourite,so I thought you would like it too.'' you feel your cheeks burning.

''It's definitely my favourite too.'' he winked. ''Uhm..so..can you give me your number then?'' he asked.

''Oh,sure.'' you took his phone out of his hands and typed your number in. ''Here you go.''

''Thank you..I will save it under the naaame.....''

''Raven is fine..everyone calls me Raven.'' you spoke.

''Okay,then Raven..save..done.'' he mumbled to himself.

You gave him a smile as he looked at you.

''Um..do you have time today?'' he asked shyly,but surely.

''Y..Yes I guess..'' you said a bit shocked.

''Okay then..I'll pick you up here at 7 o'clock. Bye for now and thank you.'' he said giving you a peck on your cheek and left quickly.

You stood there for a good amount of time,until you realised what just happened. Then you ran back to the dressing room. You feel your cheeks burning and you were 100% sure that you were red as a tomato.

'Maybe the people were right..maybe I'm drunk..drunk in love.' you thought for yourself while finally going to do your work.
