The Devil's Lair

"The Guardian's Ghost!" said Ikora worried as she picked up the dead Ghost.
"It's lost its light the Frireteam must have been taken prisoner. It all makes sense now the Fallen are not surrounding the area because they are probably using preparing for an offering ritual to offer the Guardians to Sepiks-Prime!"
"Well that's just great, our only hope at surviving our mission is probably dead. How are we even suppose to get passed the entrance now?!"
"A wise Guardian once said: Good fighters have backup plans, Great fighters have contingency plans. Now just follow my lead" said Zavala inspiring his team.
The team followed Zavala to the heavily guarded entrance. and drew out their weapons.
"Cayde, snipers and and and the guys on the left, Ikora you're with me. Go!" commanded Zavala. Cayde quickly drew out his hand cannon and aimed at the Vandals in their vantage points, pulled the trigger several times and Vandals fell from their vantage points. The alerted Dreg soldiers turned their attention to Cayde and his partners. The Fallen opened fire and Fireteam Osiris returned fire. Zavala lead the charge with his partners behind him. Cayde opened the magazine chamber and replaced the magazine on it and continued firing. Zavala and Ikora charged the main door. Zavala was holding the trigger on his auto rifle spraying bullets. Hold, charge, release, hold, charge, release and electric energy fired from Ikora's fusion rifle. Zavala then charged to the door and punched the Fallen Captain with an electric charged melee attack. Ikora then charged her fusion rifle and fired at the Fallen Captain. The team then met at the door entrance.
"Well that was great." said Cayde the Fireteam took of walking into the House of Devils' Lair. The lair was dark and was covered in Fallen symbols and the House of Devils Banner was hung everywhere.
"Well who knew the Fallen were this patriotic." commented Cayde. The Fireteam continued walking and reached this open room with a suspended platform and very uneven ground. across from the suspended platform was a ledge coming of the wall with a door guarded by a layer of mesh laser. The console was in front of the door. The door lead to Sepiks-Prime.
"Ok Ikora take out your Ghost and ask it to hack the console while you watch its back. Cayde you're on sniper duty I want you covering us from Whatever Fallen come out of those doors. I will stay here to engage the Fallen that come in through the main entrance."
"Sir, yes sir." responded Cayde and Ikora took out her Ghost and it started to hack the console.
"This may take a few minutes Ikora, watch my back the Fallen will be alerted of my presence in their system." said the little floating Ghost to Ikora. An alarm was triggered the siren echoed through the room.
"Here they come!" yelled Zavala as he saw Fallen charging to the main entrance of the room. Zavala loaded a magazine and commenced firing. A door near the console opened and Fallen spewed out of it. Ikora loaded her pulse rifle and fired the burst from her rifle.
"Time to pop some heads!" said Cayde. He aimed down the sights of his sniper rifle and stared at the digital crosshairs on the scope. BAM, BAM, BAM was the sound of Cayde's rifle letting out bullets.
"Cayde concentrate your fire on the Vandal snipers taking position on the suspension platform!" Ordered Zavala. Cayde turned his rifle to the platform and commenced firing. BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, he switched magazines and, BAM, BAM, BAM. Vandals fell stone hard on the ground, while Zavala fired his auto rifle at the incoming dreg soldiers.
"Cayde I could use some sniper fire!" yelled Zavala through the comms as a Captain's shock blade ready to be swung was pointed to Zavala. Cayde quickly realized and pulled the trigger and released the last bullet in his chamber. The Captain's head was clean of.
"Your welcome fearless leader!" said Cayde sarcastically through the comms
"You will mention this to no one." said Zavala
"Sure!" said Cayde sarcastically
Ikora is soon overrun by the overwhelming forces. She could not receive help from her partners for they had their own issues at the moment. She decides to jump on the ledge Cayde was standing on and unleashes her Nova Bomb (one of her granted abilities). She jumps off the ledge and fires two one at the ground below her and one near Zavala ending the conflict.
"Well that was dramatic!" commented Cayde
"Zavala, Cayde the Door is open." said Ikora
"And there's no more Fallen here" said Zavala. Cayde jumped off the ledge and in front of the door leading to where Sepiks-Prime resides.
"Ok people approach Sepiks-Prime with extreme caution. Cayde you're tasked with finding the remaining members of Fireteam Bravo while Ikora and I attack Sepiks then you're welcome to join us." stated Zavala.
"Yes sir." responded Cayde
