Dakota's POV

"Typical Cameron," Caden states. "You should get used to him doing things he wants to do before things his family and friends want him to do things."

Cameron left over twenty minutes ago and hasn't came back. I bet he got distracted by something else more important than feeding me. That's when we hear a twig snap behind us and we turn around quickly. It's not Cameron, it's just another very familiar pack member of Caden's. Oh yeah! He kidnapped my three year old sister, Lily, three years ago. She would be six now.

Wait, that means this pack had her as a prisoner and executed three years ago. This really sucks. The boy gives me a weird look - he must be a few years older than me.

"Do I know you?" he asks.

Caden's head snaps in my direction quickly and my eyes widen. "No," I lie.

"Really? Because you look very familiar, didn't I see you three years ago? When we captured the little girl."

"It must of been another person because you don't look familiar at all." Lies. These are all lies.

"I remember that little girl, she was cute," Caden says.

I try not to scream 'she was my little sister' so instead, I play dumb. "What little girl?"

"She was the girl I captured and Caden and his family fell in love with her. They raised her as their own for about a year. But the pack knew that she was from a rival pack and knew she had to die. Caden's parents were the Alpha and Beta then and couldn't kill her. So they gave up their position to Caden and Cameron. But they couldn't kill the girl either. Jessalyn ended up killing the little girl - what a bitch. The little girl's name was... Lily? Yes, Lily," he says.

Jessalyn killed Lily? I can't tell Nick or else he probably won't feel the same way about her. I just have to keep quiet about Lily.

"Don't ever call my sister a bitch again or I'll kill you. And don't talk about Lily again," Caden snaps.

Then I hear Lily scream at the top of her lungs. I know her scream anywhere and any time.

"Lily?!" I scream.

I use my werewolf speed to rush to the Alpha and family's house. I'm joined by Nick, Jessalyn, Cameron, a girl, Caden, Caden's parents and the boy.

"Was that Lily?" Jessalyn asks.

"How do they know Lily?" Nick asks me.

"Long story," I say.

"How do you know Lily? I don't say you don't because we all heard you scream her name," Caden says to me.

"She's our six year old sister," I say.

"Where is she?" Cameron asks. "How can we find her?"

Then everyone looks at Nick and I. Werewolves can find their mates and family members easily. I sigh and close my eyes. I see Lily running in fear in a hay field, she's running from something or someone. I open my eyes and see that Nick has gray eyes like I should and we both take off.

We reach Lily, Nick scoops her up in his arms and we run back. Nick puts her down and we shake our heads to get out of 'the zone'.

"Lily?" Jessalyn asks.

"Hi Jessie," Lily chirps.

"Wait, I thought Jess 'killed' you," the boy says.

"I let her escape," Jessalyn says.

"And now I can celebrate my siblings' twenty third birthday tomorrow!" Lily chirps.

"It's your birthday tomorrow?" Caden asks me.

I sigh. "Yeah."

"Okay." He smiles.

I know that he's going to do something tomorrow and I hope that I'll like it.
