Ahsoka's POV

She wasn't told there was a meeting, which set her teeth on edge. It was just another reason she loathed being hurt, it kept you out of the action. Ahsoka wasn't going to be left out, not with Obi-Wan gone. She was worried, and started to fear for him. Was he okay? What was Grievous doing to him? Ahsoka knew he'd been captured before, once even by Count Dooku himself, but that didn't curb the spreading anxiety.

She glanced down at her bare belt in annoyance. Grievous had also taken her lightsabers. To her, that was the worst outcome of facing him on the battlefield. Those weapons were her life. Her responsibility. And he had just ripped them from her grasp.

Anakin had Obi-Wan's lightsaber, but she didn't want to ask to borrow it. Especially because it didn't seem like she would be going anywhere soon, as much as she wanted to. Ahsoka cast a weary glance at her carefully wrapped hand. It had started to ache again. She heaved herself to her feet, she'd at least find out what was going on.

The young Padawan shuffled to the semi-room in the ruined temple. It had become their makeshift supply/command room. As she neared she overheard talking.

"There must be a better way to sneak up on the tower. I'm thinking if we scout here, we can make it to the back entrance." Ahsoka saw Anakin pointing out locations on a holomap as he spoke.

Rex spoke next. "Maybe General, but it's a tight path, one wrong move and they'll see anyone approaching."

Ahsoka made it through the doorless entrance and the two men looked up.

"Hey Snips. You're looking better." Anakin said.

Ahsoka nodded. "I feel better." A half truth. She scrutinized the map, hoping to change the subject. "So what's the next plan?"

Anakin frowned, "One that's not a good one. But it's the only one."

"Wow. You finally admit that one of your plans isn't good." Ahsoka said teasingly.

Anakin rolled his eyes.

She continued, "When is it happening?"

Rex responded. "The General thinks we should try it out today."

She nodded, "Sounds-"

"Ahsoka." Anakin crossed his arms sternly. "You're not going."

His Padawan bit back a pout. "I never said I was going to. I was just asking."

He wasn't fooled. "Ahsoka you just got back, you can barely walk and you don't have a weapon."

Ahsoka glared defiantly. "I do have the Force."

Anakin sighed, "You know what I mean. You're hurt, you're not going anywhere until you're better unless it's Courascant."

She leaned on a crumbling column from a sudden need for support, "That doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon."

Her Master nodded, "So you stay at camp."

Ahsoka sighed, he knew her too well. "Fine, okay. I'm not going anywhere."

"You should go rest again, you look pale." The clone Captain said.

Ahsoka frowned at Rex.

Anakin agreed. "He's right, get more rest, you've had a rough time."

Ahsoka reluctantly turned to leave, once again bitter about being left out of the action."Something tells me it's going to get a lot worse."
